Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The property was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, the tv worked, the shower was clean and worked well, plenty of sockets to charge phones etc the property was close to the train station and also the cruise port. The breakfast was extremely good and the catering staff were amazing

CanadaThe pillows were uncomfortable. What was really bad was that when you checked and they didn't have a room ready, they had no means to tell you when one became ready, even though they said they would, and you had to keep going back to ask. Check in was very slow for many people and some took up to half an hour. It was an interminable wait to get your room.
The room had been updated and fixtures were in very good condition.

CanadaOur room was dated and felt not clean (it seemed that the linens hadn't changed). maybe they rushed to give us an early check in but the breakfast area floor was sticky so I guess the cleaning overall wasn’t great). Some of the lights weren’t working and the shower was very weak. Free breakfast is terrible - very few choices (most options run out) and the taste is awful. We ended up having breakfast in the nearest cafe. Airport shuttle - The AC in the van wasn’t working, the driver wasn’t driving safely (talked on the phone without hands-free, and didn’t indicate turns).
The staff were very nice and even offered us an early check-in. The hotel has a great location and that’s about it.
