Door lock was malfunctioning. Went to the front desk to get assistance. Was a mechanical issue and not a card issue.

Nothing. Absolutely no complaints

The potato chips were outdated, the cinnamon rolls were cold in the middle and no microwave oven. I'm just being very picky. The breakfast was fine. The desk ladies were exceptional. Will be staying there every time we return to Lawrence.

The tub had some peeling and the TV cable wasn't working. Only a few channels would come through. But we weren't there for TV, so not a big deal. :)

Stayed here for a few nights to help my son move in for college. Great location (right by Target and Walmart) and very easy to get to. Staff was wonderful, room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. AC worked great (convenient for the 100* days) and breakfast was good.

There was new cement on part of the parking lot so I wasn’t able to pull under the awning while checking in. I was by myself with three kids so it was a little inconvenient.

We were traveling through Lawrence and this was an excellent option for us right off of Highway 10 a ways south of town. If you need convenient access to the University of Kansas, there are better options but this worked for us. Also, one of two TVs in the room did not work, and because there was only one person on staff, we couldn't get any response from the front desk. Also when we checked out, there was a sign up that the front desk staff were 'helping another guest.' Perhaps the hotel should consider overlapping help during high demand hours to correct for this.

Very clean comfortable room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was open early, had good options, and was hot and tasty. Staff was excellent (when thy were available). Location was very convenient for travelers moving through Lawrence.

The breakfast was a complete zero. Ran out of milk so the cold cereal could not be eaten. No juice! NONE! The staff said the minimal "breakfast" was because of the virus. Baloney. This was corporate/management failure. This is the first bad experience at the hotel in Lawrence. The woman on staff was very kind and understood the gross inadequacy of the "breakfast".

I prepaid with a third party (booking.com) and my total for the weekend was $400. Unfortunately, since the room was canceled I ended up paying directly to the hotel $747 for 2 nights in lawrence, Kansas. It was parents weekend so busy and hotels were booked so I was out of options (and honestly too emotionally drained to care at the time). Disappointed in the cost of the room but it is what it is.

I showed up very emotional as my dad was in hospice but had been doing well so decided to make the trip to Kansas for parents weekend. When I arrived I was told my room had been canceled and I burst into tears (like I said I was emotional because of my dad). Long story but Donna Mulford the manager at the property showed compassion and kindness and said they'd find me a room She went with another employee and went and cleaned the room. I cannot thank her enough. She was absolutely amazing. You have an incredible staff at this property and Holiday Inn should be proud. Donna Mulford was so nice to me when she could have just told me my room was canceled and that was it. My dad, unfortunately, passed away the second night of my stay so things didn't go as planned but as long as I am going to KU to visit my college son, I will always stay at the Holiday Inn. Thank you Donna.

A cleaner carpet. The whole carpet was sticky. The first night, I rubbed the carpet with a wash cloth in 3 places, and it came up black. In the morning, while showering, black came off of the bottom of both of my feet. I asked to be moved, and was told they would call me when a room was available. No call. Just got a letter that night about no stayover service. Wore shoes for the rest of my stay.

One, small elevator; very expensive for what we got (total bill was $460 for two nights); the toilet ran off and on all night; the breakfast was lacking; the water was lukewarm in the shower; the bathroom was not very clean (dirt and hair in the tub).

The location is great! It was located next to a shopping area, restaurants and the interstate. The beds were very comfortable. Free parking. Front desk staff members were nice. The coffee creamer options at the lobby coffee station were nice.
