Our bathroom shower grout was dirty. Little soap dish looked moldy. Bathroom door was nearly impossible to close/open.

In all honesty, the breakfast was sufficient, but could have been a little better. The egg cheese omelettes, we’re not very good, neither was the turkey sausage, the pancake machine was out of order. The bananas were completely green. But it still worked in a pinch, I’m not a real complainer, only expressed my concern here, because it was on the questionnaire

Location was good , far enough away from the highway to be fairly quiet. The surrounding lighting in the parking lot, was not intrusive like many other hotels who have lights that are way too bright on the outside hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds which left little room to maneuver in the room. The desk chair was crammed into one corner of the room and an additional chair was crammed into the opposite side of the room. We had the chance to look inside a room with only one king and that room provided a nice sitting area. In hind site, that would have been a better choice. We were gone most of every day so it wasn't a huge issue but had we planned to spend time in our room, it would have been a problem. Also the refrigerator was too large for the space and the door in front of it would not completely shut which made the walking path that much tighter.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This included the front desk and housekeeping staff. The breakfast offering was also very good and offered a lot of choices. The hotel was very quiet which we really appreciated.

The conditioner pump in shower didn’t work

Welcoming staff/lady at front desk. Room was clean and had microwave/fridge/coffee maker/nice desk area/ comfy beds/shampoo conditioner & shower gel in shower/close to gas, shopping, restaurants! We were very pleased as we had just driven from New Mexico and wanted to just get a clean room to relax. The staff and hotel amenities are wonderful!

We had a disability/handicap room. The bed was so high, it was extremely difficult to get in the bed. A disability room needs to have a lower bed so that it would not be a struggle to get on the bed for the person with the disability.

Was SHOCKED that a hotel in the desert would charge $4.50 per small bottle of water. That is NOT a comfort item, but a necessity.

Comfortable, expansive room with good climate control, convenient to local restaurants, plus fitness center. Room at rear of hotel was convenient for carrying gear from 3-week vacation in and out.

The free breakfast was just slightly not as complete as other Holiday Inn Express. My previous night in Nogales AZ had eggs, omlettes, sausage gravy, links & pattys. Not here

Some of the breakfast food portions are a little mean. The toaster used doesn’t work very well and a second would help relieve this bottleneck. Whether or not one agree’s with smokers habits, they do exist. It would be an improvement to provide shelter (shade) and seating in a designated smoking area.

We stayed for two nights. Once when driving from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and again on the return drive home. There is a lot of competition in the area but the HolInnExprs delivers the best overall quality and value when compared with the others, And most importantly the bathroom linens and the beds offered at Holiday Inn Express are superior. We stayed in room 108, outbound and 104 on the return. It seemed that 104 was a little more “used” than 108. The through the wall AC unit in 108 is quieter, and newer, than 104, but 104, at the end of the first floor, is more convenient to entry and exit from the parking area. The breakfast bar was, for the price, very good.

I had recently stayed at a Springhill Suites and was happy that they provided disinfectant wipes in the room. There were none at the Holiday Inn Express. Also, the Coffee cups for complimentary coffee in the room were not sealed in plastic, just unwrapped which is not very sanitary. Finally, the double plug above the desk did not work. It had a lamp plugged in and as soon as I moved the plug, the lamp worked. Same with my laptop, and there was no switch associated with this plug. So, overall, not as good an experience as Springhill.
