How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was being remodeled-but it did not affect the cleanliness or function. I wish there Were two elevators.
The hotel was located to lots of restaurants and shopping, clean and accommodating. We received EXCELLENT service from Angelica, one of the front desk staff. And great service from others also.

The pool heater was out so it was cold!

Breakfast oranges were rotten. I was in the room across from the exit door, could hear people going out all thru the night. I was charged the regular fee for my Service Support Dog, (even when I was asked) and did show my documents). I booked thru bookings.com, but I was charged more than was quoted when I booked the room. They wouldn't/didn't give military or senior discounts, because I did'nt book directly thru the hotel.
Breakfast was ok. Location was good, next to the mall and Sams/Walmart. Staff gave me a room on the first floor near the exit for easy ecits for my support animal.

For me toilets need to be taller I have bad knees. Elevator was to slow .

Room needs some updating on ceiling. We had a top floor room; looks like it had a ceiling leak some time ago and needs patching. Other than that, hotel was very nice and very friendly staff.
Breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Hotel was clean and tidy.

I didn't like that the pool and fitness room were closed for remodeling. I wouldn't have stayed there if I had known. I didn't like the light in the shower hanging down, the toilet not working , the missing stopper in the sink. Finally. I didn't like the front desk girl forgetting to code the keys.
I liked the beds and the room size. I liked the clean bathroom. I loved North Carolinas shrimp & grits. the escape rooms & the antique shops. All said and done, we had a great time!

Honestly I didn't find anything wrong. Our stay was great. We had a nice getaway.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and updated. Brand named (dove) shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion provided for your stay. Friendly staff. Good location to food and stores, we were able to walk to stores and to dinner.

Pool was closed and that was not disclosed at booking. My daughter was disappointed and that was upsetting! Eggs were not refilled in the time frame we had for breakfast. Also disappointing.

The business center did not have a functioning printer and the staff refused to print out a copy of my receipt for my expense report. I expected better amenities and customer service for traveler's who are on business.
I enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was of great quality, and the hotel was very clean. The location of the hotel was wonderful, with easy access to the highways and had many restaurants and stores nearby.

we were placed in a room next to the elevator shaft but worse than that, we were in a room on the backside of the hotel next to the interstate. we heard trucks going down the Highway all night.

Breakfast was pretty mediocre. The pancake machine only seemed to work sporadically and the English muffins were either very stale or very freezer burned. Eggs and breakfast meats were okay
It was a very pleasant stay. Clean and very quiet rooms. Friendly staff.

The only bad thing was the pool area , it's in kinda rough shape .
Everything was on point , lady at front desk was awesome and super helpful. Breakfast was great !
