How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was really good. I didn’t have any issues with my stay at this hotel. Everyone was nice and welcomed me to Plano with a big smile.
Breakfast was good, room service was good, cleanliness of the room was good except there was a stain on my blanket

That my truck was vandalized three parking spaces from the front door they need more security even though is in a nice area

The breakfast was not very good at all. I understand it was included with the room but for 100.00 a night I would expect the breakfast to be a little better and the facilities to be a little nicer and more updated. Also the blinds in the room would not stay open and I had to fix the chain to get them to stay open. Facilities could use some maintenance.
Hotel was conveniently located to where I needed to be. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like the breakfast but I understand it’s not for everyone. There was also a smell in the hotel but I’m sure it was from the pool and everyone walking back and forth.
I liked the room it was roomy and clean.

I have no complaints about the hotel and I will be rebooking.
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is perfectly located no far from my family I come to visit. The front desk staff are also nice. The front desk manager Janell was very nice she helped my family with our reservation was messed up by booking.com

Stayed on first floor and was a little noisy.
Beds were very comfortable and choice of pillows. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave as well as K cup coffee maker. Very close to TX Health Plano Hospital.

Not enough parking.... fridge didn't work... room smelled like cigarette smoke front desk person was very rude. When I asked if they had motrin for sale.. he responded with.. I dont know go look in the snack area... and then continued texting

The pool didn’t have the “pool closed” sign facing the front of the entrance, it was open not closed all the way so we went in the pool area. Other people were there. The counter employee and maintenance walked to the pool. She turned the sign around and said the pool was closed. We asked oh and tried to explain that we didn’t move the sign and she said it’s ok and walked off…we tried to ask if we needed to get out and she didn’t even respond. Then when we went in the elevator wasn’t working and she had an attitude when I told her. Two other people walked up the stairs as we did and the said she wasn’t in a good mood so I told them about the pool situation and they said that’s not what Cynthia said…she said y’all went in when it said closed. Just didn’t feel welcomed from her. The other workers were very friendly. There were no extra sheets or blankets for the pullout for the third person to use.
We didn’t have breakfast to rate it. The room was nice and big. The location is great.

The "free upgrade" into the hell suite next to the lobby. Was insanely loud all night and morning. People stomping on the floor, (although I'm sure they were probably just walking) it was very loud, doors slamming, people talking. You should just do away with this room or make it for the hearing impaired only. I specifically asked if the lobby noise was going to be intense, I was assured it was not...
