When I walked through the lobby from the front door, there was an overwhelming smell of chlorine in the lobby and at the front desk. When I exited the elevator...same strong smell and poor ventilation. Somehow, our toilet got clogged right after we checked in. Called the front desk and asked for assistance. I was told she was the only one there and couldn't help? The next morning, I called down and was told someone would bring a plunger. It was there quickly and problem solved. The nighttime front desk person could have said, "Come down, and I'll get you a plunger." That's better than using the one toilet in our room hoping it doesn't overflow.

Breakfast menu is repetitive and a bit salty. Dining area (for breakfast) may not have enough space when the hotel fully book.

Our wifi never worked in the room, even after IT tech came to check. So we used fast wifi in the lobby but it wasn’t what we expected. Water pressure in the shower definitely needed improvement. Elevator was slow. Would be great to add a hot tub to the pool area especially for winter.

Location was amazing - walkable to lots of shopping and quick drive over to the mall. Also easy access to highway yet distant enough to feel quiet. Free parking lot. Staff was friendly and responsive to our needs, even if they couldn’t solve it (wifi). Nice to have breakfast and 24/7 coffee and tea bar available. Breakfast had more options than expected (hot eggs and sausage, pancake machine, almonds and pecans, granola, fruit). Room was very spacious with a comfortable king bed. Updated look in the bathroom, including nice vanity light, counter, and mirror. Everything was very clean.

The beds were too firm, difficult to sleep well. Noise from adjacent rooms and hallways was distracting, even door closing was very noticable.

As I said carpet smell indicating a need for deep cleaning of carpet..And no response to request for broken bottle to be cleaned up from parking space.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean with exception of room 203 carpet needs cleaning. I could smell carpet when entering room. It was on occasion. Pool area was nice. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to freeways. I enjoyed my stay. I asked a housekeeper and then the front desk staff to clean up a broken bottle in the parking spot next to my vehicle and neither did it. Overall it is likely that I will stay here again because it is central to my Seattle family.

The fire alarm went off at 1030pm and we where evacuated... for about 30 min and let back in. Also, a little pricey.. over 200$ a night is a little steep especially when you are evacuated in the middle of the night. Otherwise no complaints.

Have more Employees Available to clean up the Elevator It was disgustingly Dirty for several days, Very Small Location, Need to Invest in a Renovation Specifically since your Room Prices are high

It was Okay, But there was No sitting Available the Breakfast eating Atea was way too small, I didn’t like it. Last Year we Stayed at Another Holiday Inn Express In Tacoma And It was Much Better, They have a Huge Dinner Area and A Bar Too.

The hot tub was no longer there, although it was advertised in the online pictures.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was the deciding factor to stay at this hotel. As a family of 7, I felt we saved a lot of money being able to have a full breakfast at the hotel vs going out to eat. The pool only being 4 feet deep was perfect for my children. The location was perfect and will definitely recommend to family and friends.
