How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing we didnt like
This is a great place to stay! They provided a locked room for our bikes and they did everything they could for us to welcome us and they have a very good breakfast too! Looking forward to another stay. Thank you

Stayed two nights didn’t get clean sheets or even the bed made after 1st night. Got some fresh towels-no bath mat. Other than that the stay was great!
Easy access. Very clean & updated. Nice breakfast with plenty of room to eat!

From the point of arrival until departure it exceeded expectations! Front desk, the room and the facilities were perfect. I've traveled for business and have been in many hotels in multiple states and cities over the past few years. I only wish what I found here would have been more common!

I can't think of anything I would have changed.
Beds were so comfortable, room was so clean and large, and bathroom was fully equipped and so nice, and lots of hot water. Coffee, refrig and microwave so convenient and nice. The breakfast was the nicest we have ever had a a hotel. So much variety.

5 years old but looks brand new everywhere. My only complaint the bed was too soft for my liking. But I would stay there again next time we go to Millersburg.

The check in/check out process for us could have been improved. We waited 15 minutes to check out while the woman at the desk took a phone call. The supervisor did mention something to her about that when she came out to resolve an issue with the bill. The only downside to the room was that there was no separation between living and bedroom area so for a family with little ones, there is no separate space to put a smaller child to bed earlier. We understand those types of rooms aren’t offered at that hotel, and we would still stay here again in the future.
The hotel was clean and extremely well organized. The breakfast was fantastic, people constantly replenishing and cleaning. This was the most extensive hotel breakfast we have had. Thought that alone was worth the price. The most pleasant surprise of all though was the free laundry. Traveling with kids we always have a need to do laundry, and being able to do that for free was a huge help. There were quite a few staff members that went above and beyond to go out of their way for us, including helping us with some dessert for a friends house. Our family enjoyed talking with Paul at breakfast. We appreciated the kindness and hospitality.

We had an accessible room but I didn't think it would pass evaluation. We didn't need the features but we think the design could have been better for the money spent. I don't understand why they didn't have a hot tub.
The breakfast was good with a variety of choices.

Think the place is great.
Grabbed a cup of coffee and a Danish. Had to get on the road early. Was located in a great spot for restaurants and shops. Will be back next year with more time.

The TV remote was broken.
Cleanliness of the room and the helpful staff. We had an issue operating the blinds when we arrived and the staff member at the front desk came right away to help.

Wish there were more parking. Wish there was a hot tub with the indoor pool.
The hotel was clean. Convenient to everything we wanted to see and places we wanted to go. I loved the patio and the blue lights at night. Rooms are nice and clean. Beds are comfy. Bathroom nice. Staff friendly and helpful.

Staff gave our room to someone else on the second night even though we were still in it. Took a few minutes to be straightened out.
