How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Breakfast wasn't bad but not outstanding. It basalt better than the Holiday Inn Express we stayed in when we were in Webster, TX. Would recommend having two things off coffee available so customers don't have to wait to get coffee.
The customer service here is great. Sam was working the desk when we arrived. He was very accommodating to our need for a handicap room. He was very attentive to our needs throughout our stay He always remembered our name.

A stain in the computer chair which led me to believe the rom wasn't cleaned.No big deal I didn't utilize the chair and the rest of the room was clean

The facility was very clean and accommodations were comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. The beds were comfortable and offered 2 different types of pillows, unlike some hotels where the pillows are either too soft or too flat. The breakfast was warm and offered several choices.

I didn't get the room I requested, a handicap accessible shower is what was needed

The air conditioning was set at 65 degrees, which was too cold for me. The second night I was able to adjust it to a more comfortable setting.
Mr. V. Ghandhi was very cordial when we arrived for our three day stay. We were visiting for a family reunion and our relatives were due to arrive. He managed to honor our request for our room to be near their two rooms. He also helped obtain a requested crib from storage for our family who checked in late in the evening. The free breakfast was satisfying. The hotel is modern, new, clean and we enjoyed our stay there. The lady who worked the desk at night was also very nice.

The manager/owner "conveniently" didn't have our reservations. After contacting Booking.com, the hotel was supposed to cancel our reservation and rebook us at the Booking.com price and not charge us a cancellation fee. My credit card statement shows they charged full price for the room. I'm still waiting for Booking.com to refund my prepaid hotel room fees ($140.35). My daughter's reservations were "mysteriously" cancelled two days prior to her arrival, and they only had rooms available for full price. She also booked through Booking.com. After: posting this review the hotel manager amended the price :-) and therefore I'm amending my review.
The facilities were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was wonderful, but consider keeping it open a little longer in the morning. A larger table in the room would be nice but I did love the chaise.
The breakfast, room, bed was so very nice! Staff was great, especially Alexandra. I struggled to print copies of our boarding passes for the next day. She spent quite a bit of time & patience with me helping to successfully outsmart the airline software. She was so kind respectful even though this older lady struggled with technology. She went above and beyond to help solve my problem.Our family enjoyed the ice cream in your snack area-consider adding chobani yogurt! Our family occupied 8 rooms @your hotel for my mother in law's memorial services.Thank you for making it a very pleasant stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was not good. The biscuits were hard and obviously pre-made. The gravy was not good and obviously from a can. The sausage was not browned. The egg, 'omlette?" was rubbery. The coffee, juice and yogurt was fine
The location was within 1.2 mile of the three places I had to visit.
