The permanent residents living on the top floor were extremely noisy, with the movement around their apartment throughout the day and night. Also, a small dog barking throughout the day when another resident left their apartment each day was so annoying.

Although there was a security gate it didn’t feel like the most safe location, I kept hearing bangs after 10pm when I was there…i don’t want to say it was gunshots but the sound was as close as I could describe to it. I did hear fireworks going off as well since it was around 4th of July so may have just been a car, or fireworks but after looking online there was a shooting in the area about a month or two before hand. It worried me a little being a solo female but overall I made do and didn’t have any troubles apart from the noises. Apart from that I found the apartment to be fine the walls are thin so I could hear the neighbours walking around upstairs but I easily blocked them out.

The space was larger than I thought it would be, it had a nice large comfortable bed. The lift was small but did the job I needed to get my suitcases up and down. Overall it worked for the purpose I needed it to, to sleep in. Was a short walk from public transport which was good although paying for transport was hard.

Wasn’t very sound proof. could hear the neighbours above quite clearly. Was out most of the time so was not really an issue . Neighbourhood was ok but Sunset which was a block up was fairly rough but that’s Hollywood for you.

Great location . Close to shops , buses. Wasn’t far from the walk of fame. Apartment was clean. Bed was comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. Good range of channels on the tv.

I was disappointed that they never fixed the problem with the loose toilet seat and the water pressure in the toilet. The water tank from the toilet needed 20-30 minutes to fill up. When you go to the toilet the other person has to wait 30 minutes to go or you can't flash the toilet. In the kitchen I missed: a pair of scissors, a sieve (to drain the pasta) and oven mitts (that's why we couldn't use the oven). The forks are very tiny (like forks for toddlers, lol). I hope they will fix these problems because we want to come back.

I liked the location. It was safe, quiet and close to the bus station. We were coming in the evening and the shower didn't work. I sent a message and told them about the shower, the toilet seat (the screw was broken and the seat was very loose), the problem with the microwave and the broken mirror in the bathroom. The next day a nice woman was coming and looked at everything. And then in the evening a man was coming and fixed the shower. On the second day we got a new microwave (but we never used it). Good work. Every time they fixed a problem fast and with any questions I got a fast answer.

Beware! This property has a cockroach issue! The kitchen hasn’t been cleaned properly which is perpetuating the issue. I contacted the host before we travelled as I had seen other reviews mentioning cockroaches and he assured me that the issue had been resolved. However, as soon as we arrived we saw a cockroach run across the kitchen counter! We were unable to stay here due to this and had to find last minute alternative accommodation late at night which was extremely stressful. The host is also refusing to refund despite us not being able to stay. Don’t book this accommodation!

Absence of sound isolation leads to exposure to external noises such as police and firefighters. The furniture and bed are notably uncomfortable, and cleanliness leaves much to be desired, with occasional insect sightings.
