Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWhen I booked this room. It was after a long review of other properties. We had about 5 hours before having to be at a destination and the outside pictures of the fireplace, lounge chairs and sofas looked to inviting. I just jumped and booked the room. unfortunately, it rained that day, and the outside area was completely soaked. No problem can't control the weather. decided to venture to our room for a nice hot shower and a cup of tea. Not good, NO warm or hot water for showers. The new kitchenette wasn't working. Microwave not operating. UGH, very disappointing. It was late when we came back from dinner and after flying from Philadelphia to Florida, I decided to wait till morning to mention this to the front desk. I truly NEVER complain, but this was a bit upsetting and not such a great way to start our vacation. I did eventually mention all our issues (Very nicely) to the front desk, first thing in the morning. Hot Water: The only response was, oh, your room was on the other side of the building, and it takes the hot water many minutes to reach your room. I thought; very odd, considering I left the shower running while I was getting undressed. To return to a freezing cold running water. Microwave: We were told the circuit breaker must have been turned off. I asked where the board was located. She had NO IDEA. No apologizing just, have a nice cruise was mentioned.

United StatesCold water we had 5 people with 5 different rooms and everyone complained about having no hot water and the lady at the front desk act like it was nothing wrong. I know we’re not the only ones to ever say something.… and one thing I dislike about the Home2Homes is the breakfast. Need to have a better breakfast.
