How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our air conditioner was stuck on for 3 days so it was freezing, they came and fixed it shortly after we told them about ut
Excellent location , close to everything we wanted to do. The rooms are great, they’re very big and have lots of drawer space for clothes. Loved the kitchenette as well. The breakfast is just ok but there are food options near by. Would definitely recommend!

The beds were not comfortable. I wish the pool was headed.

The location is further to the downtown The room was a bit expensive for the distance and for the unhealthy breakfast

We chose not to eat the breakfast. Nothing appealed to us. But I did have coffee!
The location was great! The room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable! The staff were friendly and helpful! It was nice to stay in a big room with so many accommodations, close to Charleston and a great price! Plus plenty of parking and close to places to eat and shop.

The pool should stay open until 10pm at least..... Especially given alot of families travel in for baseball and we want to unwind after a long day at the field and let the kids swim....and they CAN'T. That was a big disappointment.

This property was wonderful. With 3 adults we were each able to have our own bed because of the pull out sofa. The room was very large and the we appreciated having the kitchen area. We would stay here again 😊

The breakfast include, wasn't hitting on much, honestly not good at all. Also the bathroom door in our room was actually a safety issue. It was kinda hard to close and the thing at the top that was suppose to stop the door at a certain point apparently was to far back, and your fingers would get caught in the little cut out on the door that is suppose serve as the handle. I mashed my fingers 3 different times when trying to close the door, and the third time it cut my finger pretty bad. Also concerning that, my husband went down to the desk to see if they had a first aid kit or something to stop the bleeding, all they had was a band aid, which normally wouldn't have been a big deal, but for some reason I couldn't get it to stop bleeding. The girl did apologize and said she would notify her supervisor of the need of a first aid kit. I do think tho, that a hotel should always keep on hand, at least a first aid kit, in case of emergencys. Other than that, the hotel was very nice, clean and staff was nice.

Breakfast was mediocre as is always the case. Reheated egg omelets, cereal, oatmeal, toast, waffles were the fare. I ate the oatmeal just because I don't like the other stuff.
Large rooms with plenty of space for belongings. Parking was convenient and there was a rear door with locked-card access to the rear parking lot.

This is beyond your control, but the fire alarm going off at 650am on Sunday was not something we liked 😂. It wasn't a fire, but it definitely wasn't the time we wanted to wake up.
The location was perfect, we were right between the two soccer complexes we needed to be at for the weekend. The room was clean and nice and cool. We didn't have time to use any of the amenities. But they looked nice!

We were only provided with one wash cloth.
The fire pit out front. We spent hours in front of it that night and made new friends! Loved the full size bottles in the shower of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The AC is not as quiet It was really busy in the hotel so some mornings it was difficult to get breakfast I think 2 persons should manage breakfast on busy days

Everything was great except for the stove top did not work and the fire alarm went off at 5 am and everyone was standing outside for over an hour in the cold. No one ever came and told us what was going on, nor did they make sure everyone was safe.
Besides a few hiccups, our stay was great.

VERY Heavy room doors that SLAM when entering & exiting the room, which was VERY LOUD all evening/night long around us. Breakfast could have been warmer and more variety. The firepit was basically a SMOKERS ZONE so NOONE else could enjoy it. Awful
