How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower was not very good & water leaked on the floor.

Like previously stated, the couch bed was very uncomfortable. Also, one of the staff members tried to overcharge me for some stuff which was quite outraging.
Location and neighborhood are superb. Breakfast started strong, but the quality suffered near the end of our stay. The rooms are quite big and have excellent facilities, but the couch bed was very uncomfortable.

One of the lifts was temporarily out of service. We were there for over 3 weeks and it was not repaired. I don’t think that was temporary.
Location is fantastic for the international drive area and universal studios theme parks. Plenty of parking and breakfast included.

Didn't like that there was no bar soap in the bathroom for hands or body. They had shower gel and shampoo and conditioner attached to the shower wall, but there no way to just wash your hands .
Loved the king-size bed it was very comfortable!

The room was to sleep up to four, but the kitchen area is only set up for two people. Air conditioning noisy.
Everything you need for an Orlando stay. The living area being separate from the sleeping area is one of the main attractions, accommodation wise. Comfortable rooms, swimming pool area great after a day at the parks. Little complementary snacks some afternoons are a treat, and complementary coffee throughout the day. Excellent location for restaurants, and for road access when travelling either to the parks or further afield. Handy, reasonably priced laundrette on site.

one elevator was out of service every other day we were there, got a delivery that nobody told me about it and the room smelled grease from cooking.
Nice property, and the staff at breakfast are awesome!

Room was a bit tired looking. Just little things like some grime here and there. Staines and a rip on the couch. Nothing major but just enough to notice.
Stayed here a few times, and as always, the staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast is a bit of a bun fight, but once you work out the best time to go down, it's fine. The location is great, and the price via booking.com was excellent as well. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed everything. First off all i was Thankful for my early check inn & late check out. Friendly & nice staff, top location walking distance from so many attractions & restaurants, great breakfast

The pool was small and didn’t get the sun until 10:45am and only then sun shone on one side all day with 8 x sun loungers.
The location is perfect just behind the main bars in middle of I Drive. Loads of parking and so easy to access from both I Drive and Universal Blvd.

There could have been more variety in the breakfast offering (it was basically the same items every day), and on some days the breakfast area was very crowded. Also the hotel did not offer daily housekeeping services like what we are accustomed to at other hotels - you have to request housekeeping 24 hours in advance. Parking unfortunately was not free (it cost $10/night, $5/night if you stayed more than 5 nights and free if you stay more than 8 nights).
This hotel was very conveniently located - between International Drive and Universal Drive - and within walking distance of several restaurants, a Walgreen's, Icon Park, Pirate's Cove (mini golf), Ripley's Believe or Not and other attractions. The rooms were of decent size (though they were smaller than how they looked in the photos) and the kitchenette was a nice convenience, especially for families. The breakfast was of a good quality (though it lacked variety day by day). Lots of parking spots available (though at a cost).
