That we live too far away to frequent it more! ☺️

Beautiful up town feel, very personable staff & fantastic attached restaurant (the brownie dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had!). Amazing gem in the middle of Kansas

I was not allowed to pay with cash at the property even though I was still putting a credit card on file.

The access to the hotel is simple and parking is never a problem. There is Starbucks on site as well as Ya-ya’s bistro. When we stay here it doesn’t even seem like we stayed in Salina. Everything is clean and in proper working order.

There’s not a whole lot to complain about. We stay up a little later, and the pool closes at 10. It’s reasonable, but the pool closing at 10 was really the only thing.

The breakfast was amazing! The staff are super nice. The room was everything I expected and more. We sat outside and ate breakfast on the patio. It was covered in lights and absolutely beautiful. It was a rainy day, but sitting outside was like something you’d see in a movie. The pictures online don’t do it justice.

What I didn't like is that they use your questionnaire.

No I don't want to tell more!! I gave it an excellent rating. That should have been your last question, considering the rating.

This is one unique place in Salina that feels upscale. Much better than anything else in town.

I had a two room unit where my son slept on the sofa sleeper. The sleeper was a nightmare to unfold and once we did get it unfolded it was sloped. Other than this, everything else was perfect.

The airflow through the AC system was quiet and functioned very well. Still, to us, the hotel would have been perfect if it had invested in windows that could have been opened. However, that is just nitpicking to find something critical to say about a hotel that has so obviously been thoroughly designed for its guests' comfort.

This hotel is like an oasis for cross-country travelers. We arrived by 97 degrees heat to find a brand new hotel with a lovely suite that came with a fully functional kitchen. The hotel's entrance/public space area are wonderful just like the outdoor courtyard (which would have been great for sitting had it not been too hot), and immaculate amenities. The brand new pool is perfect for kids, though not really large enough for adults for swimming. Still, the kids loved it. Our floor offered a great gym and a 24 hour self-service guest laundry room, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff could not have been more welcoming and kind. There is a Starbucks located inside the hotel and a restaurant that could not have been more of a surprise. The restaurant offers actual healthy and GF options, such as cauliflower pizzas, and pasta dishes. Our favorite was the cauliflower steak. As for dessert, we had creme and fruits -- which tasted like real Italian panna -- and chocolate-filled filo dough. Delish. This all came at a very affordable price. The complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel came with real dishes and some nice options.

There wasn’t a door into the bathroom vanity area, so one person couldn’t get ready without shining a bright light into the bedroom. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom, not down a hall like in many hotels.

It helps that the hotel is fairly new. Nothing at all negative to comment about. It’s not the Ritz, but very nice, much nicer than any of the other big chains in this price range. Really liked having a suite! Good downtown location. We were visiting family, so we didn’t try the restaurant, but it looked very pretty.

The beds were hard, there was food on the floor (I cleaned it up), something gross on the seats of the chairs and dripping down the chair (I cleaned it up).

It is a beautiful setting and the main floor is gorgeous but once you go up stairs it is not so good.

We had only lukewarm water except for the kitchen sink. We couldn't take a bath or shower unless we wanted to take it cold. I didn't bring my tea kettle either so we couldn't boil water to add to the bath.

We stay here every year during equifest and we love it. Convenient location great accomodations and staff.

We stayed at Homewood Suites 5 nights and were there for my husband’s mom funeral. We were put in room 406. The second to the last night was New Year’s Eve we had spent the day at the funeral. They had rented out the area above us to an all night New Years party. I called the front desk at 1:30 am as the party was so loud there was no way you could sleep. I asked why they would put us in this room knowing the party was going all night. The lady at the front desk informed me she didn’t put us in the room. The party slowed down around 4:30 am. We got no sleep that night. The next day I spoke to the front desk. They comped the room 1 night and put a note and a small bag of snacks on our door. it was a terrible night.

it was a good location. facility was clean.
