Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesStaff was horrendous. I have severe food allergies and asked about the breakfast after 30 minutes of waiting I finally just left with a cup of coffee. The night time clerk was on the phone or something definitely did not want to be bothered by guest.

United StatesWe stayed two nights and the first morning the breakfast had quite a bit of choices (basic choices that most people would like), but the second morning the choices were not as basic and more geared towards specific tastes. I would like to see the basic eggs and a meat each morning to go with the other choices. Having some sort of hash and biscuits and gravy on the same day didn't leave many options if you just wanted something basic.
The breakfast was wonderful for the most part and the staff made sure that fresh, hot food was on the food bar. The hotel is also in an easily accessible area with a lot of nearby places to dine.

United StatesAfter checking in at 7pm, we went to our room and noticed drying fans in the hallway and a terrible smell. Went back to front desk and were told there was a fire on the 4th floor earlier that day and the sprinklers were activated, hence the fans. We told them the room and smell were not acceptable. They put us in a different room in the lower level near the breakfast buffet which was too loud. But better than a fire smell and loud fans running. When I asked why they didn’t call us to inform us of the recent fire, they said that they were so busy that day that they had forgotten. Right…

United StatesThe bed was awful. The beds were the hardest beds I have ever slept on. I purposely paid the price because I have never been to a Hilton that did not have awesome and comfortable beds. Unfortunately, I did not sleep all night. Nor did my friend. Because of this, I would not recommend your hotel to anyone.
I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. The staff were kind, responsive and professional. They certainly represented the Hilton brand. The breakfast also had a lot of choices. I liked the suite. It was nice to have a refridgerator.

Saudi ArabiaLocation to Busch Gardens was very good. Room was clean. The staff was very friendly. Our bath tub clogged up and they were up to fix it in 5 mins, and fixed it quickly. When we asked for more towels they brought them up quickly. Beds were very comfortable. It was great having a suite instead of just a room with beds. The breakfast was very good for being included. Lots of options. Overall, it was a nice and could not have asked for more!
