Perfect.Sweet fresh picknick basket every morning waiting at our door. Delicious in rm. coffee. Lovely cozy with ocean veiw. we stayed another night.

The mural on the wall is a little dated, not really a complaint. Was just trying to think of something to fill out here lol

Great location, about a 2 min walk to downtown Carmel. The walk is downhill which means when walking back it is all uphill, this wasn't a problem for us but would be nice to know for possible older or handicapped people. The room itself was great, really big for 2 people and the spa tub fit both of us very comfortably. the breakfast basket was a nice touch and was different each day which was really cool.

Some outdated features but the room was super clean. Patio could have been updated to be more inviting but they did have a nice outdoor space to sit.

Parking right outside my hotel room and they do not charge for parking. Really convenient walking distance

I loved how we were served breakfast though I wish we were given the option of breakfast items. When we checked in we were asked if we had dietary restrictions, which we do not, though was not asked if we had certain preferences for our continental breakfast. 2 out of 3 of us only ate the breakfast for half the stay because didn’t like everything that was served. Please think about having guest fill out options on what they want served in their breakfast baskets for each morning.

Loved that it was cozy with a fireplace and patio. Nice sized bathtub/shower.

Stayed in a king, ocean view room. It was upstairs with a modest sized balcony (but it was chilly so we didn't use it anyway). The room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated. Housekeeping excellent, ditto the front desk. We decided to stay an extra day - no problem. The hotel is on the northeast corner of the village, uphill one block at a minimum and three or four from Ocean, the main east-west street. The grade up for the two of us octogenarians wasn't tough for younger people, it wouldn't even be much of a warm-up for that late afternoon glass of wine. Oh, and Keurig machines in the room with two free cups a day. There's a market down Junipero that sells 10-box packages if you want more.

Our room way near the maids quarters, so during the day time it was loud and we had a hard time taking a nap in the room. Wish we had a balcony because I brooked so far advance and we seemed like we got the worst room.

The breakfast in a basket was very good and convenient. The location was in easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. We really liked the cold water dispenser in the courtyard.

We paid for an ocean view room but it was only a partial view which was disappointing especially because there were rooms with full views. We paid to upgrade for the ocean view so was a bit disappointing

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

I liked our variety of breakfasts of pastry, cereal, fruit, and hardboiled egg waiting outside our door every morning in a little basket. I liked the location in the middle of Carmel with a short walk of 2 blocks to Ocean Avenue. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. The staff were great, and the view of Point Lobos and the Pacific was the icing on the cake!

Room was a little out dated, such as the carpet, bed, and the pillows were super tiny/small. The bathroom area was also small, so we had to take turns washing up.

The room was okay. Fireplace in the room was nice, and the bathroom looked updated and clean.

Thought the hottub might be bigger. Would have liked a coke machine. And it's a long walk up back from the beach... uphill!

Very lovely in almost every way. We had the Junior Mountain Suite, and it's such a great room to spend 5 nights in!

I can't think of a single thing.

My husband and I loved our spacious room and ocean view. The hot tub and fire pit became part of our evening relaxation ritual. The breakfast in a picnic basket was also a nice touch.

Rudy at the front desk provided outstanding customer service. NO AC in the room so if we did not have the window open, the room lacked ventilation or circulation-made it difficult to sleep. Picnic basket was a nice touch. Perhaps offer breakfast in a social area and have a wine/simple happy hour?

Old very uncomfortable pillows that need replacing/upgrading. Very difficult to sleep comfortably with flat foam or lumpy pillows and good sleep is a priority!
