The only downside is the button to drain the sink which was broken. but I only stayed one night so it didn't bother me.

It was my first night in a month in the US with silence ! Almost no cars, no train, no noisy heating.

To be honest I really don't have anything to say bad about our stay except I wish we could have stayed longer and I wish I have gotten the king room but that was my fault not the motel. Again We want to Thank the staff.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the motel. We are definitely going to stay at the Horse Cave again. The gentleman that checked us in was really thoughtful and helpful. I appreciate everything he did. The next time I think we will get a king room even though I have some issues with my legs I think I can walk up the stairs. I really enjoyed our stay. It wasn't long enough stay. We want to Thank the staff.

Did not state anywhere you have to pay additional for pets. I paid more for a dog fee then I paid to book the room.

The beds were a little hard and not quite as comfortable as we had hoped.

An older motel, not fancy, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and quiet. Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Great little place for the price. We will stay here again!

Owner gave me a hard time and asked details about my disability when we travelled with my service dog. Had to produce documentation papers for the service dog so I didn't have to pay for the dog cleaning fee. Too many personal questions.

Had problem with cable service . Cable company came and fixed it after two days. Lot of storm damage in area.

Very very clean. The owner was so nice and accommodating the only thing I had a problem with was there wasn't enough lighting in the bathroom for the shower but other than that I will be going and staying again excellent little motel and price was more than reasonable just loved it and will be staying again but cleanliness was just exceptional it's cleaner than any other hotel I've stayed in!! Oh and could use a coffee pot in the rooms but other than little more lighting and a coffee pot in room that's all I can point out that is an issue but not gonna stop me from staying again.

The father that owns this with the mother and daughter whom also run it was EXTREMELY hostile and rude. I came downstairs to throw my bag in the car its 2minutes until checkout my boyfriend is finishing up in the shower, the man says he's walking me up to our room to check our room, keep in mind 20 minutes before this we was knocking on our door taking the key, telling me I will be charged per minute that I'm not out of there and that he already told me yesterday which no the fuxk he did not, i am 29 had bright green hair at the time and covered in tats and piercings, I'm going to have to assume he made assumptions with his I'm coming up with you. This is why you put a card on file. So that was UNNECESSARY. The extreme disrespect and tone in his voice was enough for me to leave the whole state following that. I would like to say I've stayed more than once, the daughter is the sweetest human. She should handle all their guests because the dad should never ever talk to a young women that way. Imagine if someone got in his daughters face thw way he got in mine at 11am after we checked in around 4am. And I get it we checked our around 1105 but 5 minutes? Allllll that over 5 minutes? I'd pay 200 extra to NEVER feel that way again.
