Room was very dated. Lamp shade was nasty, couple traveling with us had paw prints on the sheets. No light on shower. Will not stay there again!

Mostly clean, you can tell it’s a older motel but has been done up nice. For the price and the location will definitely stay again.

Horse Cave is pet friendly and convenient. We stayed there on our way home as a stop over. It is clean and a very good value.

Bathroom was unacceptable. No light in shower. Mold on tile in shower. Beds not comfortable. Lighting in room dim. Drain in bathroom sink was corroded. No place to hang clothes. Room was drab and uninviting

Facility is very old and outdated. The bed was very hard and the base the mattress was on made a lot of noise every time one of us moved. The shower was old and there was very little hot water in the shower.

Didn't try the breakfast. Didn't like anything about the motel.

.Room smelled horrible. Stale cigarette smoke. Steep flight of stairs to carry luggage up. Needs updated. Never felt comfortable in the room..

This location was exactly what I expected. Everything was CLEAN and functional. No frills, just exactly what is needed. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Great value if you aren't looking for fancy. Just a great place to sleep (beds were comfortable) and shower.

The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Older hotel with updates to decor and furniture. I felt very comfortable and ended up staying couple days longer than expected.

I really liked that my room wasn't accessed by the staff each day. My main concern is typically that housekeeping would have been in my room each day and I was so glad that was not the case here.

A little dated but still pleasant stay. Hot water could have been more hot.

Location was very close to everything we needed. Owners are friendly and helpful. Offered us water bottles at check in. Good conversations with owners son, similar in age to my son. Large rooms, two rooms really. Comfortable stay. Clean facility.

I got to room it was hot , and they charged 85$ a night , took 2 hours or more to get cold , could have went 5 minutes down the road and spent same money for better hotel .all in all ,its some where to play your head that is it

I was expecting carpeting in my room, but the linoleum was just fine.

Horse Cave Motel is what you would call above basic lodging at a seemingly bargain price. My room was clean, and came equipped with a refrigerator, and a microwave. The air conditioning was more than adequate for a hot humid July night. I happened to arrive early, and the owner allowed me to check in before the prescribed check in hour. There are plenty of things to do, and places to eat, ranging from a fairly basic barbeque cafe, to a nice steak house, within 5 to 10 minutes from my room. This motel is nothing fancy, but for the price it is more than what you would expect. The week before, I ended up at a motel in the same area, with the same basic services for over twice the money. I will be going to the Horse Cave Motel on my next trip, to the area.

The motel staff forced us to pay in cash even though I wanted to pay with my credit card. The internet also sucked and was slow. The fridge barely worked. The room was furnished extremely cheaply.

Price was low and in our range for a Sunday night.

On the second day the maintenance personnel were looking in the front window,when I opened the door he was there with an exterminator wanting to spray the room..UGH I left that day (after paying for 4 nights we stayed 2)
