The plug for charge you phone is only in one way. You don’t have any other possibility to charge you phone . I mean you have, is leave your phone far away from you with the other type of plug.

The beds were comfortable but the pods and floors of the bedroom squeaked when walking. No charging ports in the pods only usb charging docs that didn’t charge fast.

I like that it had a self serving laundry on the lower floor of the building. It had common bathrooms on all floors, there were free laptops that could be used by guests for internet access. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Hostel was close to the yellow MRT line and near to bus stops. very convenient location

Wish there was a trash can in the shared dorm. Mine didn’t have any. Sometimes guests don’t close the door when leaving which is safety concern.

I liked that the pods were clean, spacious, sturdy (no creaking sounds whenever i turn), has hooks, and is air conditioned. And there is hair dryer, soap, mouth wash, q tips in the showers. Plenty of privacy, fellow guests were quiet, and staff was helpful!

The bathrooms could be cleaner.

The capsules gives you privacy, and the mattress is very comfortable. The atmosphere in the hostel is very nice and friendly. The location is excellent, near to the metro station and bus stops.

The staff were nowhere to be found, there was one barrista that saw me starring at the menu and she was just at the back talking until i approached the back and she told me they were closed., nothing wrong about that but inwas standing awhile she shouldve just said it was closed. I also didnt like that somebody texted me through secure chat that i should removed the dirty linen and throw them in the hamper, i did that but the others didnt, im just a bit confused as to why have to do the removing of the sheets and when i did i saw several packets of coffee mate underneath, therefore they did not even bother to change the bedsheet that i was using because they didnt remove or see the coffee mate…

The capsule bed was nice and cozy and spacious.

USB port in my capsule was not working but a staff member quickly replaced them. Street noise can be heard from the rooms

There was only one real downside about my stay, and that was the inability to charge my phone in my capsule. Normally that's not a big deal, but the whole system for checking in, unlocking your front door, and getting into your room, is all based on an app you have to download from your smart phone! There's USB ports in the pods, sure, but they're beaten up from overuse. I found myself spending two or three hours in the morning sitting in a chair near a wall outlet in the breakfast area so I could charge my phone. I managed to speak to a supervisor or manager or someone, who was cleaning the capsule beds in my room one morning. He told me the capsules are from before the pandemic, and they're in the process of replacing all of them right now. If I ever go back to visit family in the area, presumably the capsules will be working a bit better by then. I wouldn't worry too much about coming back, in that circumstance.

Coffee's good. Breakfast is the same quality you'd get at any local coffee shop. Capsule's surprisingly comfortable. Way more room to maneuver than someone might expect, as well as comfortable amenities. There's a doohickey for controlling the lights and the airflow on the side of the wall. The showers were kinda cold, but I wasn't expecting much for the price.

Cleanliness could have been better and some small repairs needed throughout. Lighting at sinks on dorm floors could be better as there was no good place to put on makeup.

I didn't like going down to the basement to shower, but it wasn't a biggie.

The facilities could be cleaner. During my stay toilets were frequently clogged and looking filthy.

I slept like a baby in the capsule. It is nice to have kind of your own space even if you still share the room with other travelers. The vibe in the hostel is nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the USB plugs in both of our pods did not work, so we couldn't charge our devices at night as there were only a few power outlets available in the dorm.

The hostel is conveniently located on U Street close to a wide variety of shops, bars, and restaurants as well as a Metro Station. The pods are very comfortable and more roomy than they look.

The staff was very friendly. However, there was an issue with the bathroom area in my room, and I had to tell two different staff members before it was finally addressed. Besides that, I think this is a great place to stay and I would stay again.

The hostel is conveniently close to the metro and the U Street corridor is a very happening place in DC. The room and location makes this a bang for your buck.

Simple maintenance issues need to be handled quicker. A toilet was out the entire week. That left 1 toilet for the entire floor. Toilet paper took 2 days to be refilled. Toilet seat so loose I fell off. There is a maintenance man on site. I never saw him working on anything.

There seems to be semi-permanent residents here. Staff are not always available. No refrigerator or cooking area like most hostels have.

The bed in the capsule was comfortable and enough space. Value for money in DC. If you are used to Hostels then you will like it. Convenient to the Metro.

Ha!! Caroline... a hating staffer who is a total stranger to me who stated she knew me and gaslighted an issue between us without any details...no details no facts at all about me or the supposed incident she claimed excisted between us. Clearly a Narcisse hater that I don't recall ever meeting at all. Karen vibe she even did the zip it motion coming at me disrespectful without valid cause because I never give anybody any unless their jealous hating azzes act out of line. I got a steel cure for that. A pure hater all the way which is bad for business. I guess she hates her job and the business using me to validate whatever bitterness she sleeps with at night to gaslight drama she feigned to get in my face and attack me in front of guests and staff ( anywhere any time hunnee ) or was it my pure joy and positive spirit along with all the 24k and diamond bling dripping off my designer dressed azz gleefully treating others not judging a soul, offering free pizza and good spirits on my dime that triggered her jealous hating azz being all envious. Hate cause you ain't sweetie here's some advice, make better choices with YOUR LIFE.. and quit hating beautiful women who do. And? if she made a move I would have def thrown hands that she would regret for weeks... All her bigotry after I kindly asked her for the wine opener that was last seen in the pencil holder that I bought and gave to the house no problems the night prior as she happened to be sitting at the front desk after scrubbing all those toilets an takin out the trash. I paid close to a grand for my 7 day stay and I was happy, too bad Caroline wasn't seeing as it went toward her minimum wage income if that plus room&board. I'm just guessing seeing as I own and operate Airbnb's in DC and just so happen to know the u st owners. You got to pay the cost to be the boss and let me tell you it was a blink in the bucket for me. I could have stayed anywhere in DC.

I slept through breakfast, wasn't even sure they offered that when I booked for a week. The staff were awesome! Great location! Fair pricing and Jim!? Awesome guy! His good disposition is reassuring that you will enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.
