Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesCurtains on the same rod were different lengths. There was a large wet spot on the floor in front of the AC unit. Pet "fee" just a way to jack up the already over-inflated room price. Non-smoking areas were basically non-existent. No breakfast - not even a granola bar. Light switches were connected to the outlet to charge our phones by the bed so when the lights were off, our phones didn't get charged up overnight.

United StatesMy husband and I did not like the view or the fact you had to unplug either the tv or refrigerator to plug in the microwave.
We did not try the breakfast, but the halls were quiet and we were unable to hear people in the room next to ours. We also liked the size of the shower it was big enough for the both of us to shower comfortably.

The front staff was fantastic. Lori went above and beyond to make sure my stay was acceptable. I returned multiple times to the front desk with questions and each time I was greeted by her with a smile. Thanks again Lori for all that you do.

United StatesIt was very loud and hard to sleep being on the first floor. I don't know if it was the guests coming in at all hours or being close to the services area/front desk, but I woke up a lot because of the noise and I'm not a light sleeper. I wish there was a trash can near the bathroom because there was only one.
I liked the location next to the airport and the bed was actually quite comfortable. There was heating/cooling and a mini fridge. Also the staff was very nice and helpful, especially the guy early in the morning really made me feel welcomed.
