How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My room was located by the entrance door that had an automatic shut which slammed and I heard it all night long. It was a bit humid also from the pool but we enjoyed the hot tub and pool area so it was a nice trade off

Only one thing - getting out onto the main road to go to town is hard to turn left. Not much can be done about that, just be careful.
We’ve stayed here before and liked our stay. We got a nice quiet room upper floor in the back. The breakfast was very good and enjoyed the fried cut up sausage which I never have seen during all our stays this trip at any other hotel breakfasts.

It could be cleaner, specially bed and sheet, I had to ask them to change sheets twice.
The staff were great. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good for the price.

It would be beneficial to have in and out arrows and/or check in parking spot. Tried to pull out to go to the store and 2 people checking in were blocking the only entrance. Also the blankets were quite uncomfortable.
The location was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and they have a great spread for breakfast. The jacuzzi in my room was amazing.

The shower from the other rooms was very loud(probably not insulated pipes?). The breakfast room was rather small and popular...There was paper plates and plastic cutlery...Probably hard to add regular plates and utensils, but it's a thought (to be more inviting and environmentally friendly). I feel the price was a bit high for what we got... When the wind blows hard, it whistles through the room.
Super friendly staff - very welcoming and nice. Pretty standard breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, yoghurt, cereal, waffles, oatmeal and some apples and bananas~ would maybe add grapes or oranges or berries).

The countertop was not cleaned and was wet when we arrived. The pillows were much too hard. My partner and I both have back problems and it was difficult to get comfortable with the pillows. Also the pool / hot tub area is extremely small. I had to wait for the group of people to switch so I could use the facility. The water in the shower was very soft. Hard to get the soap off.
Online reservation was convenient.The bed was nice. The young man at the front desk was helpful.

Bathroom faucet was difficult to adjust water speed. Poor design. Carpet on stairs worn out but too be expected in a wet environment.
Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. Plenty of surfaces for our suitcases & other bags. Very good hot breakfast. Included eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes plus the usual assortment of yogurts, fruit, muffins, toast, coffee. Breakfast area kept stocked and clean. Location nothing to rave about but similar to most motels in town.

The motel was at the South end of town. I wish I had gotten a motel closer to the city center.

•First room floor windows about 6 feet from parked cars; conversations audible; no privacy to open curtains. •Noise (horns/beeps) from cars being locked. •Not worth the price for room with spa tub. :(

Bathtub clogged but the staff eventually got it cleaned up.
It was easy to find and not in a really busy area. It had an elevator.
