I specifically look for hotels that include breakfast to save time while traveling. This hotel was listed as "includes breakfast" but had stale muffins, granola bars, or oatmeal packets as the only food available, and coffee/tea was the only beverage.

Apparently there was an issue at check in and people were trying to get into our room at 4:30 in the morning

It was bare bones and smelled like pets. There was something yellow on the ceiling that looked like someone sprayed.

The location is good, near shopping. it was freshly painted and had adequate space in the room.

There was a lot of noise, it appears to be filled with road workers and construction people. They were smoking pot in the parking lot, which is not particularly well lit. No ice machines, no frills of any sort, no coffee machine in the room and the shower curtain so short it does not stay in the tub. I had to wait forever to get someone to come out and check me in, she did not speak to me except to say "photo ID" and hand me my keys telling me the room number.

What breakfast? There was a coffee bar. The hotel is a no-frills place to stay. I have stayed here before because of the price and location.

I didn't like the loud talking in the middle of the night from other guests that are coming in and out to leave for work, etc who also are out in the smoking area. You also hear the exit door slam upon every entry.

I traveled to Austin because my daughter's high school team was in Austin for state competitions. They were sold out and at a very expensive rate. But I love that I was exactly 4 min's drive away. The hotel is old and my room was clean, hall and areas where the carpet is there is a stale smell/odor. I made the best that I could shop grocery and cook in my room. So I made the best by bringing on the trip, a candle, Febreeze spray, and my own cleaning supplies. It wasn't the worst place that I have stayed, but since I was traveling alone I endured. I personally have some skin sensitivity issues. I did try to sleep on the bed but began itching. So I made the recliner my sleeper for the trip. The breakfast is an on-the-go style like coffee, variety of pastries, fruit, granola bar, oatmeal packets, etc. This place is geared for independent contractors, traveling nurses, and the like. But if you are traveling on a dime, I also have families, couples, and seniors. It works to meet a short-term goal. Hope this helps.
