Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThere were no blankets. We had 2 top sheets. That’s it. There was no toilet paper. The room smelled like concentrated bleach. Almost every piece of furniture was broken. All the outlets in the lamps didn’t work. The lamps were rusted and sticky and gross. The chair was stained and disgusting.
The staff were all really kind and wonderful to work with.

United StatesVery dated property although it was clean. Carpet constantly felt damp and I suspect the a/c being on before I got in the room was to cover up a smell of mustyness or a previous smoker. Lousy breakfast choices for a grab and go, no lids for the cups. Although I booked through Booking the reservation never went through the system. I was fortunate enough to get there where they accommodated me from vacancies but when I checked out the manager did tell me that a lot of people were turned away because of the 3rd party booking situation. Not sure what I will do next time as I can't afford to be stranded and I don't know whose issue that is, Bookings or Day's Inn.
Easy on and off to Rt 80. Lots of parking right outside your room.
