Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe place is old needs to be updated and cleaned. The carpet and walls were stained ripped up and had dirt in the all the corners. We had phones in out room that weren't even hooked up our bedding had holes in it. The sliding glass door went to a wall. Smelt old and like smoke.
The location was perfect for our trip to Busch gardens.

United StatesThe fact that room was dirty, our shower had a leak, the sink wouldn’t close properly, the bed sheets were completely dirty, we had to ask for new ones, and the bed was dirty as well there was even a spider on one of the beds.
We liked how close the property was to the park.

United StatesHotel dirty and dilapidated inside and out. Website says breakfast included, then sign at hotel says there is no breakfast due to COVID-19. I'm not a computer engineer, but I think the hotel could easily announce the correct status of amenities offered. They didn't, and the front desk guy seemed annoyed I was calling him out on the hotel's fraudulent business practices. (the manager gave me %10 off the hotel stay).
Close to Bush Gardens, allowed me to keep car parked there all day even after checking out.

United StatesWe had a rate of $39 for 5 nights and the. They charged $89 for an additional night. Could not accommodate for one more night. I spoke to Brianna and she said she could. It take payment over the phone and the decision maker never seemed to be around to resolve the issue.

United StatesNo one would answer the phone when you call the hotel front desk. Not enough staff, was forced to go find a staff member because had no towels in my room. Husband did like that it had a nice private balcony.
No breakfast offered at hotel, bed was not what I reserved and hotel could use some repairs. It appears that hotel was being used for an extended stay hotel. couldn't get a bottom floor room. Also had a homeless man camped out in back of hotel underneath the stairs.

United StatesIt smelled like smoke everywhere. Two police cars were parked in the parking lot looking for someone. Homeless people took shelter outside the lobby door during the rain. The area did not feel safe. Advertised breakfast, but no breakfast. Other motels supplied a bag of breakfast items during the pandemic. Room service was supposed happen every day but I had to request it.

United StatesThe whole facility is DISGUSTING! We paid over $130 for a single night in a “non-smoking” room, but yet the sheets & comforters had burn holes some bigger then a quarter. The desks and table were greasy. There was ash on the floor in the bathroom from someone smoking. The bathroom had broken wall tile where we seen roaches come out of. Then to make things better the people roomed next to us had a full on party until 3:30 am. Cars pulled up to their private patio blasting music,screaming, & fighting that the management did nothing about. The next morning we find syringes & needles throughout the parking lot. Also said breakfast was included in the rate and there was no breakfast provided.
The location was great. Only a 2 minute drive to Busch Gardens & Adventure Island.

United Stateswhen I pulled back the covers one bed had black flake stuff all over it and the other bed had dried blood.. I had to request clean linen for both beds and change everything myself. Underneath the dirty sheets was a very dirty bed protector.. the bathroom floors have black hair all over it and mold on the walls... It was very dusty in the room and for it to be smoke-free all I kept smelling was smoke.
One staff that work there. He was very friendly when we got back from our day I requested extra towels because we only had two in the room and there was three of us. He even brought it up to the room for us..
