The hotel is run down. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The room darkening blinds didn't close.

Very low water pressure in the shower. Lights in the room and bath very dim. Light switches did not turn on any lights in room. Had to turn on lamps by walking into dark room. Listing says breakfast included. Breakfast was only coffee and prepackaged muffins or cereal, wouldn’t even consider it a continental breakfast.

The woman who checked us in was less than pleasant. When we got to our room, there was a white stain on the bed frame that looked quite like a bodily fluid. I also felt as if the queen room I was given was in fact a full sized bed, not a queen. Due to these things I asked to switch rooms and she was so adamant that we would not receive an upgraded room without paying for it. I did not ask for an upgraded room, simply if the bed was actually a queen and for a new room without a stained bed frame. She had to come up to the room to check to see if the stain was in fact there- upon seeing the stain she rudely states well we can just clean it. I again asked for a new room. She finally complied and provided a new room and was not very nice about it.

The owners brother who was working the front desk the morning we checked out was fabulous. He went above and beyond to assure our needs were met.

Toilet paper was thin and scratchy. Little expensive for what you get.

Love the location close to Tempe Marketplace Mall, ASU, lots of food choices. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a pre-packaged to go paper bag with some pastries, belvita crackers, and an apple. Lobby has a good coffee machine.

The Tempest Hotela at ASU is a convenient accommodation located on University drive at 5-6 blocks from downtown Tempe and from the main facilities of the ASU Campus. The room was large and the bed very cofortable. The staff was very kind and helpful: I had to modify my booking and they took care of everything.

The traffic noise was very loud. There were stray hairs in the bathroom, on the floor, on the sink. The sheets weren't pressed. The electric outlets were difficult to find. There were no clothes hangers.

I liked that the window coverings made the room really dark. I liked the bed was clean and comfortable.

We asked to have our TV looked at. it was not working. We told the gentleman at front desk, He said that he will check it and reset the TV. But it was never done. Also the refrigerator in room neve worked. We could not keep anything in there.

The location was great and easy to get to. close to eating places and close to the park and ride for us to use the railway to our events. Hotel was very clean. They had friendly staff.

Two premium TV channels were available -- Showtime and The Movie Channel. The staff was very helpful. Good location with access to freeways and stores. There wasn't much space to walk between the bed and the dresser (with the TV on it).

the furniture in the room was a little worn and they definitely need a chair in the room. sitting on the bed or one desk chair got tiring.

the property was a good value for the location. easy to get to and the staff were pleasant. the shower pressure and temp was great.
