How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The booking process is not consistent. I stayed there four weeks for work and paid four different prices from reasonable to borderline ridiculous. Also, the place can use a little tlc

The bed dipped and wasn’t as comfy as I’d like. The bathroom shower also didn’t look super clean. (We opted not to use it). Overall, the decor & look of the hotel was kinda outdated and grungy. But overall decent stay. We were only in the room a total of 11 hours to sleep before our several hour trip home. Overall, we were satisfied with our visit.
The breakfast was great. The staff were super nice & accommodating.

Place needs a re-fresh..chipped and peeling paint not looking good. Also, my car was vandalized in parking lot..

The facility was very busy at the time I was going to have breakfast and the toilet paper holder was actually in my ribs as I was using the bathroom. The bathroom sink is too close to the toilet and then the toilet paper holder is actually over the seat so there is no room to comfortably use the facilities.
Did not have breakfast. It was too busy at the time I went. The facility is huge and had many people staying there. Otherwise I had no issues.

We had a queen bed, we are used to a cal king so it was a little uncomfortable. We had to leave at 7 am on Sunday and they don't serve breakfast until 9 so we missed out.
The staff was amazing, food was great. Beautiful place

Desk clerk who originally took my call when making reservations was very rude and dismissive. Also, It’s 2023 - every room should have a HD tv. Analog tvs with cable service not acceptable for rates being charged. The maid and breakfast service personnel could give the front desk employees a clinic on proper customer service.
Breakfast was very nice. Breakfast staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable.

we had to check out a day early and the desk clerk said she couldnt give me a one day refund or check me out early, and " did not care if i got a refund". very rude. i will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

The no cancellations clause. We had made our reservations six months in advance and would have stayed closer to our destination if the original reservations could have been cancelled. The breakfast bar didn't have orange juice. It had three other juices plus water. It was nice to have water. Juice and coffee is available 24/7 but the coffee did not taste like coffee. Also, no Raisin Bran, no bananas. There should have been more selections. No towel replacement during our three day stay.
We were able to get our steps in going from lobby to room. It was a good walk to the elevator and then a walk through two sections to our room. We were able to park in the back closer to our room. The staff does what they can with what they have to work with.

The bathroom had broken tile and the bath mat had stains. The sheer curtains were ripped. The ironing board cover was dirty.

parking lot was very dark. we came at night and it was hard to find the door in the back of the building the water didn’t work in the shower at first but the did fix it.

There were no negatives.
This comfortable hotel was located in a halfway point of our travel day. All was comfortable and clean. There were two excellent choices of restaurants next door for dinner. The hot breakfast at the hotel was good with many choices from which to choose.
