The outside of the building was less well kept. The shade in our room was damaged.

Great staff. Solid breakfast bar (but overpriced) and nice bar area. Rooms were clean and had a fine bed and mattress. Billing was clear with no bad surprises.

The lamp in the room didn't work, neither did the hair dryer - tried in multiple outlets. The blinds were stuck and our window was on the first floor facing the parking lot. The hotel did not seem at all busy - I realize that may not have been the case at all - but we were put directly next to the person who checked in just before us. We were not allowed wifi without joining the members club.

The front desk staff was nice. I liked the online check in option too.

The property needs to be updated. There are not any USB ports within the room. Of course we have our own, but was surprised. Was a bit disappointed for a Sheraton Hotel/price. We’ve definitely stayed in nicer Sheraton properties.

The breakfast.They had the usual stuff. Scrambled eggs,sausage, bacon, cereal etc. The issue is it was $15 per adult. So we went to one of the many smaller diners around and had a better selection and pretty much paid the same price and didn't have to serve ourselves.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms didn't smell of Marijuana. Something to think about of you're visiting Michigan. It is legal there almost like alcohol. You are not supposed to smoke it in certain places. That for one doesn't stop anyone and two the smell of it stickes to everything. But, if it's your thing. Knock yourself ou.

The shampoo dispenser was empty, the tv remote didn’t work properly, and the pillows themselves (not the cases) had yellow staining on all of them except one. The pool wasn’t open. The restaurant/slash bar in the lobby wasn’t open at all during the time I was there.

The room didn't match the photo. Also was suppose to have a bench shower but didn't get that either. Some paint missing on walls and the cable like came out of the wall instead of being attached to a mount plate.

Room cleanliness was fair to poor; found old dog feces on the floor; under the chair was a dog bowl. My two dogs actually found both. The room smelled like a very office. Taking dogs out was unpleasant because the poor condition the parking lot and dog area. Glass in parking lot harmful for pets. Far from Kalamazoo and WMU

The restaurant was closed due to staffing, so unable to get any breakfast. There was no microwave in the room to reheat anything (definitely a first in all the hotels I've stayed at). The mini fridge had a bad seal and prevented anything you put in there from getting cold

I stayed one night for my son’s wrestling tournament and although staff was overwhelmed with the number of guests, everyone I interacted with was so kind and helpful. Cleaning staff, front desk, dining staff, and bar tender were all so nice!

I was not advised beforehand that there was a $25 pet fee PER pet. We were on the road for 4 days in different hotels every night. This was the most run down of all the hotels. The pet area was dirty, the grass was overgrown, and the pet fee for that was outrageous. Just an FYI - the other hotels had reasonable flat rate fees of $12/night. $50 for a 12-hour stay was ridiculous. Also, we had to sign a pet policy that stated no pets on the 2nd or 3rd floors and then we were placed on the 2nd floor.

Staff were working so hard to keep up with the demand for breakfast. There was a very large school group staying overnight and they all hit the breakfast at the same time. I watched the staff seriously hustling trying to replenish the eggs, bacon and potatoes to keep everyone happy. Their hard work was noted.
