Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Wearing a bonnet to the front desk is beyond unprofessional We needed to check in an hour early, but it wasn't possible, which is understandable,but many hotels offer the option, even if customers have to pay additional. United StatesWe booked a King suite with a pull out couch and when we got there we were given two Queens. We were not given a warning or notice and we were not accommodated for the switch. Normally when a booking is changed, there is an upgrade, not a downgrade. It was important for us to have the first booking due to our family needs. Our stay was less than great because of this occurrence. Also, there was a black out curtain on one side of the window but it would have been great if there had been one on the other side.
Breakfast was great, the breakfast staff were friendly. The food options were good as well.

Obviously that's not going to work. water came out of the shower head with a weak stream. Also, not sure the last time the tub was cleaned because there were a few very long hairs in it. No, not mine.
