A hot breakfast would have been better than cereal, coffee, fruit juice, & pastry. But that wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

The room was clean & the bed was comfortable, clean bathroom, Continental breakfast was satisfactory. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will stay here again.

The photos show a large (red) arm chair or recliner in the single-king-bed rooms but our room (#114) didn't have one. That made it uncomfortable to simply sit and read or watch TV. (Not everyone wants to lie down on a bed to read.)

Convenient location with near-by restaurants and fast-food outlets. Very courteous staff and good clean room. Parking seemed ample and night-time noise wasn't heard.

When booking and on receipt when paying it said “breakfast”. When I asked they said not now! It would be helpful if it was stated when making the reservation. Owner did make fresh coffee for us!

Clean, comfortable beds, close to our destination, friendly staff. We left behind an item I. The room and they called us and held it I. The front office to pick up before we left town. Super customer service.

The room was clean, the bed was adequate, and the bathroom was small, but I guess that I should have expected that considering the rate that I paid.

I didn’t partake of the breakfast because I didn’t feel that what they offered was worth eating. I guess concerning the rate that I paid for the room that I should have known that they really wouldn’t offer much of a continental breakfast. I walked to a MacDonalds a few blocks away to get a breakfast. I was really surprised that a city the size of Winfield wouldn’t have more choices of motels considering that they have a college even though it is a small private Christian college.

The hotel is obviously older and could use some updates, but it is also a smaller town. Still a great stay!

The beds were super comfortable! The room was clean and the staff was friendly and very personable. The parking lot was well lit and we all slept well. I would book here again.

My stay was very enjoyable. The only thing I can suggest is that they update their in room and online information,(that says pets in smoking rooms only.) They no longer have smoking rooms, but they have some rooms for travelers with pets. The only ice machine is on the 2nd floor, and the in room info says there is ice on the first floor. When I asked for the location of the ice machine, the owner/manager insisted on getting it for me since it's on the 2nd floor. He not only brought me ice, but also brought me a Coke. (The local McDonald's was out of Coke and Dr. Pepper...now THAT'S another story! I should mention that there is an active rail line nearby. I only heard trains before 10 pm.

This is an older property that has been updated. The husband and wife that own/manage this property are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower has great water pressure!! There were enough outlets to accommodate my CPAP machine. When I inquired about the pet policy I found out that they do allow pets in some rooms for a small fee, so I can bring my 2 small dogs next time. This property is close to downtown, restaurants, gas stations, Walmart and is under 4 miles from the Kansas Veterans Home.

Only challenge was ice machine being on 2nd floor and having to walk upstairs. This could be a problem for elderly or physically challenged guests.

Staff was greatly helpful and ready for special requests. This was our second time this year and we'll definitely be back.

We have stayed twice the beds are like a dream the room was clean this is a non-smoking facility they set up chairs for us to set in outside they are very customer oriented as this was something they did not have to do for us thank you for taking great care of us. we will be staying each time we come to Winfield.

For someone who is a light sleeper I could hear everything outside my room. But the hotel is on a major road through town, so it was to be expected. I would have liked a couple more options for breakfast but for a grab and go style breakfast it sufficed.

Everything! The staff was amazing, they accommodated my need for a room change at a short notice and my need to have a very late check in (midnight). When I got there to check in, they made it so quick, easy and convenient. My room was much larger than I had anticipated and very clean the hotel staff even made sure my A/C was on before my arrival. The tv had a lot of channels and I was very comfortable for my stay.
