Breakfast had a nice choice of items, but the food was not very hot, it was more like lukewarm.

Rooms were clean, and roomy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was thankful for the 24hr coffee in the lobby.

Not a issue, but we were not able to book another night that was needed because of graduation festivities and family gatherings after graduation. There is nothing to complain about, but it would have been nice for another night and not move to another hotel.

The staff was friendly and had great attitudes. The place was clean and seemed well managed. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this place to any travelers.

Water pressure was low not sure if it was trouble with a leak or buildup of debris in lines (may need to replace shower head & flush valve in toilet) because of the construction of the building next door. This will happen with new water lines being put in. But otherwise is always nice place to stay.

The tv didn’t work. There was an upsetting argument at the front desk with a man complaining about his room. He said he had roaches and wanted his money back. It was very unsetting.

Not happy with charge of $150 for incidentals on my credit card to be refunded after checkout. This is new and higher than every one else! And it takes a week or more to get it back. Shame on you!

It troubles me that when I get a room from an outside app (Booking .com) that I am treated differently than if I had come directly to the Motel and paid $25 more. Then when I tried to ask about extending at the same rate, the attendant said that I would need to take the room at the higher rate than the one I had been offered on the App. Why wouldn't the motel like that I was extending and bend a bit to give me a deal? I went back on the App and paid a slightly higher rate and though the attendant ultimately left me in the room, he said that that act was exceptional. Why? Are you trying to punish your customers for paying prices that you can't offer. Knowing what I know, I would never go directly to a hotel/motel and pay the asking price. I park in the parking lot and look at the App before going in. It is clear that establishments want to gouge their customers.

The room was clean and ample. The maid had left a used wash cloth sitting on the bathtub and a waste basket was sitting on the toilet.

The pull out sofa has a mattress which you can feel every coil. I had to fold my blanket twice to put 4 layers of blanket on it.

The location of the hotel was hard to find. I could see where the hotel was on the internet, but in person from the road off the highway the hotel was hidden. We had to ride around for 20 minutes through a residential area before we found the hotel. Please make hotel signage close to the street.

Excellent hotel close to everything in downtown Lawrence. I came to visit my kiddo at KU and it was the perfect spot. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again when coming to Lawrence.

The fact that even though I had paid for the room in advance, they charged $150 to my credit card account as a buffer for our any damage from our 8lb. service dog and “incidentals”. I’m calling BS on that. The Hilton charged us $25 for the same thing.

The couch needs pillows. It was not comfortable to sit on without them. Also, if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs(which I always do) as the hotel is near a busy road.
