Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe check-in lounge was not clean and it had a smell. I asked if they mopped the floors and the girl said they mopped them every morning. I told her that they needed to mop it throughout the day because it was dirty and it just smells in there. I usually don’t stay at places like this , but it had good reviews and it looked really nice online. I will never stay here again.
The want to be breakfast was horrible. They had non-branded mini muffins that was horrible. No milk, water or juice. All they had was stale mini muffins and hot chocolate. They location was ok but the property was not to my liking.

United StatesThe girl who check me in and out horrible personality and should not be working in hospitality. Every questions was a no with a snarky tone and face. We wanted a place so we could cook because or A/C went out labor day weekend no pots or pans available had to leave to go out and buy food. We bought food to cook but not able to cook. No remote control in room. Had to go to desk to get one that barely worked!!
I was there for the air condition only!! Paula front desk was exceptional and overly apologetic to things out of her control! She was a very helpful and caring person! She did all she could do to help!

Went back to the car, dug out my tablet, pulled up the email with the conf.#, ran back into the hotel lobby and showed it to the clerk. They gave us a room and would call me to come back down to complete the paperwork when they received a new conf.# from booking.com. So I couldn't relax, take a shower, or be intimate with my wife until it was all confirmed & signed for.
It was an average stay. Nothing more.

United StatesRoom door security latch broken,card lock kept not working, breaker panel door broken, bed not secured and headboard damaged. Place needs a remodel. Many assisted income people live at this apartment location. More than one of them were working on cars and running the loud engines in middle of the night in the parking lot. Check in staff did not make me aware of the required paid parking. Js kinda dumpy place for 200/night

United StatesThis place is so dirty, so smelly, it makes you sick . The staff , especially the manager, is absolutely rude and useless. Bed bugs in a hotel are so unacceptable. Couldn't sleep at all, and the staff not only denied it , but we were ironically rude about it. I will never stay at this hotel or any of it affiliates ever again.
There is nothing to like about this property. Dirty place with nasty staff .

United StatesLike I said above the breakfast and also the guest letting their doors slam shut all hours of the day and night without any concern about other guests trying or just scare the crap out of them when it slams.
The room and bathroom were spacious, bed was comfortable, as far as the breakfast if you were there for one or two days it was fine but for longer it would have been nice to have something other than muffins, granola bars and oat meal.
