Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesIt's a little run down. The door was kinda beat up. Stains on the carpet. The TV sat kinda low. There's no shampoo, but they had the bars of soap there. I read that we would have to ask the front desk for it?
We liked the staff. The front desk was helpful. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It's a pretty decent place to stay for just one night.

United StatesThe room I was given was disgusting. I get it’s a 2-star with lots of tenants, that allows pets, so it’s a bit banged up and worn out (as seen by many stains on the carpet and counters, poorly repainted areas on the walls, cracked furniture, etc) but it wasn’t even CLEAN. Like no wiping down of anything, no vacuuming, nothing. Smudges, long term dust, random old sticky stuff on lamps and light switches, and the TV, and more. Your 10-point Covid cleaning guarantee did NOT apply to that room; it would have been unacceptable pre-pandemic. if the problem hasn’t been solved by being moved to another room, I was not comfortable letting me and my son stay in there and was already looking into alternative nearby hotels.

United StatesHotel looks nice from the outside that’s about it. They do lock up at 11 pm so staff seemed to be on the premise after that, you need a key to go into the building so don’t forget it. Let’s begin with the elevator it was dirty!! That should be enough to tell you about the room. At glance the room looked okay, however the kitchen was dirty, the shower had someone else’s hair on the walls( I don’t think it was cleaned at all). Safe to say that they do not do through cleaning. Only thing good was the staff. If you want to stay at a clean, safe place avoid this hotel!

The Staff was friendly and helpful with the issues we had during our stay. The room was a good size & clean. They ensured the offerings were sanitary. Full sized refrigerator & freezer were great.
