I had an issue with billing which the management was able to get taken care of very quickly. The front desk staff was very welcoming and professional.

Only thing that could improve was shore pressure could be a little better . That’s about it . Everything else was awesome.

Property was right off Highway next to Mexican restaurant and gas station , great location . Rooms were nice and clean . I would stay here again .

Two words - BED BUGS! We decided on a last minute trip to Cedar Point since it’s the last park we needed to check off from our prestige pass and while we’re IHG members, due to it being last minute the 3 places we had looked at were fully booked and settled for SleepInn, big mistake! Their booking.com rooms are very confusing since the title says one thing and the description says another so before we booked anything, we called the hotel.. not booking, the hotel to clarify and after they assured us we would be getting a king bed, we went ahead and booked it. Once we got there they didn’t want to give us a king bed because we hadn’t booked it right and booking.com had given us the wrong info. I showed them the call and provided the number I had called which was theirs, the owner Hope (I mean manager) said she was going to cancel out reservation because moving us to a different room would cost her an out of pocket fortune, she went to talk to booking and who knows what they said because she didn’t cancel it and moved us to a king room only after calling us liars and refusing to see what we had booked on our end and showing her on the app. She went ahead and told us how we had ruined her out of town trip due to this incident, when let’s me honest.. anyone who truly had a trip booked and paid for would of left on their day off and taken the trip. That night was a nightmare as we were eaten away by bed bugs, we tried door dashing products but it was too late so the next day we ordered bug spray from Lowe’s and called to get new sheets which they didn’t want to provide because they only change them every 3 days, we were only staying for 2 so that’s probably why there was bed bugs to begin with. The owner Hope (sorry manager) came up with another lady with new sheets and did a 3 second “examination” of the bed, all they did was talk along themselves as if we weren’t in the room and said how they had deep cleaned this room a week ago.

The pool was down, had we known prior to coming we would have booked else where! We walked in, she didn't mention anything about the pool until I asked after checking in! I had 3 kids wanting to go swimming and to hear about the pool being down the day of was not good!

My room was odd. The bathroom was tiny due to a maintenance closet sharing some of the space that should have gone to the bathroom. I thought it was odd that we were given that room considering the hotel wasn't busy and there were plenty of rooms available. The other issue I had was with the bed. My wife and I both woke up with sore backs due to the mattress.

The location was great. Check-in was very simple and easy. The room was clean as was the rest of the facility.

Beds were not comfortable and breakfast wasn’t not good. Also paid for a kind suite and the kind bed and pull out bed were in the same room. Would not have upgraded the room to a suite if we knew it would still all be in one room.

We didnt know till arrival if we had a fridge! Which we were one of the rooms that did! but did not have a microwave. Did find one on main floor by ice machine so that worked out.

Breakfast was very nice... good food! Right next door to friwndship kitchen gas station made quick snacks easy! Location rt in middle of all the attractions.

There were multiple bugs in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping with my head falling down towards the headboard even with multiple pillows. During breakfast many things were empty even though there was more than an hour left and you could over hear the staff in the small kitchen room complaining about the guests.

The check in staff was very friendly. The breakfast food that was available was good. And check out was as simple as handing in the key cards.

You can tell the housekeeping staff are trying their best because the towels and sheets were really clean and things were not dusty but overall the room was pretty gross. It’s just an old building probably. Room was damp and musty smelling. Even the papers and sheets felt damp. Moldy stains on the wall. Nasty stuff in the tile grout. It seemed unhealthy to stay in the room. Hotel was booked so no other options. *EXTREMELY overpriced given the uncleanliness of the facilities*

Very close to put-in-bay ferries. Pool was decent, average, not super clear water though. Breakfast was very good. Staff was kind.
