Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

View from our room was great, especially at night! The location on the map is really really good if you decide to visit Canada or if you want to go to Goat Island. I can recommend the Cave of the Winds as it will bring you very close to the falls.

Excellent location, walking distance to the falls and many restaurants. Breakfast was very good. We had an incident where the alarm clock started going off in the vacant room next to us. We called the desk and they immediately took care of. We arrived a bit before the advertised check in time and were given our room. Note there is a $5 parking fee.

Costa RicaOnly down was the quality and place for the breakfast (kind of stale and in a crowded basement) but (1) considering the rest of the experience this is passable and (2) we didn't come for the breakfast.
All in all very good experience. Good crew, nice room if slightly on the small / old side, comfortable bed, warm shower :) Location of the hotel is about perfect. Not too crowded, but then early February. Only bas is breakfast which is just to tick the "included" box.

United StatesThe vending machines were sold out of diet coke on both floors. Was going to switch to bottled water but those weren't available as well. I was told that fireworks were on display on the Saturday that I had reserved. They were not. There was a charge for parking but the lot was not cleared or plowed.
The location was nice & close to the Falls. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable.
