The smell in hallways was very strong. Thankfully inside the room was okay. Breakfast was very minimal. Fan on heating was loud.

Very skimpy, cheap breakfast. There are no eggs, biscuits and gravy etc. They only had breads, yogurt cereal and waffles.

They were quite short staffed, but very pleasant. They were short cleaning staff so were away from the front desk quite often.

My room looked clean, but once I turned the lights on, it was obvious that the surfaces were not wiped down, the bathroom had hairs on the sink and in/on the bathtub. The plug-in next to the bed was not working. Neither was the lamp by the window. The receptionist DID come up and clean the room for me after asking what my options were for a new room. The beds were comfortable, and it's a place to lay your head for a cheaper price than most. I probably wouldn't HIGHLY recommend this hotel, BUT I did book another room again because Christian was so welcoming and willing to make my stay better during my first stay here.

This hotel was conveniently close to the grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. Very quiet rooms, the front desk receptionist, Christian, was VERY helpful with my check-in and any issues that came up during my time here. Plenty of parking available. The refrigerator and microwave in the room worked great! The check-in process was very fast and easy.

Tub was uncomfortable, Bed looked like it wasn't made, the room heater unit was noisy, and so was the refrig. The check in staff was not particularly helpful or friendly. The check out staff was great. The room was clean and otherwise fine. the continental breakfast was lacking but you could get by. Rooms are relatively quiet.

The carpeting on the stairs was dirty. There was no elevator so we had to drag our heavy suitcase up stairs. The bed was too high. We are in our seventies and it was too hard to get on the bed and to get off in the middle of the night.

The facility did not feel very clean (deep clean) as far as the need for updating and clean carpet. There was a lingering smell that made you feel like it wasn't as clean/fresh as it could be.

Ran out of coffee at the breakfast . waffle batter gone, no one on duty to resupply, breakfast was meager in general. Remote control for TV didn't work replacement from the desk didn't work either. We used one to turn on the power and the other one to change channels which only worked if held close to the TV and was held upside down. Condensate line is plugged on the hvac unit , leaked on the floor. The aerator on the bath faucet needs to be cleaned or replaced and the handle was loose.

Good location, reasonable price, very convenient. Good orange juice.

Bathroom was janky with shower squealing when you turned it on. It looked like they painted the shower tube and surround white. The room key and door didn't work well. Had to take many tries to unlock each time.

New Ulm has no Uber, no taxi service, and no bus service. Are you kidding? Stairwells we dark and dirty. Plastic mattress covers were interesting. Made the beds uncomfortable.

Breakfast was convenient. Staff was friendly at the front desk.
