Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe reserved for three people and the staff refused to give us more than two towels. They never came and made the beds or emptied the trash and we were there for 3 nights. After the first night I had about 20 insect bites on my arms and was scared there may be bed bugs so I inspected the beds but ended up having severe anxiety and have had to throw away luggage due to preventing bed bugs from coming to my home.

United StatesThe room was dirty - The bedspread and sheets were stained - furniture was run down and stained - The bathroom was particularly disturbing, with pubic hair in the shower, shaving hairs on one wall of the shower, and an inch of dust along the top of the tile of the shower - our original room's air conditioner wasn't working, though the air conditioning was sufficient in the second room - at no cost would I choose to stay here again

My wife went to the front desk to get anther wash cloth and was told we were allowed only one per room. The rooms are cleaned once every 3 days, so if you leave early you must use the wet bath towel from the day before.

United Statesthe toilet leaked, the door handle was dirty. My phone was blinking as if there was a msg but the staff didn't know how to fix it, so I suggested just unplug it. And at check out they couldn't provide a receipt. when I asked if there is a Starbucks close by, the staff said we don't like Starbucks as they contribute to BLM and we're conservative here in Nampa.
