It was very clean, comfortable and close to highway. Sonora is a lovely place.

Parking was not always available. I parked on the street on Saturday night, but the parking was free and without meters or penalties on the weekend.

The location was excellent as was the staff. The Ramen restaurant and the Save-Mor were close by and very convenient. The Ramen Restaurant was Excellent!

Shampoo n bodywash was not filled. Pool was not serviced so could not use, free breakfast was continental and all amenities along with check in was across the street at the Sonora Inn.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean n decent size. Felt safe in the area. There was a nice little creek behind hotel that had a soothing sound to our sleep.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable, and for two, the room was a bit small.

The location was great, right at the center, restaurants and shops are close. The room was nice and clean, and I especially liked the shower. Staff were also helpful, and breakfast was ok.

Parking. Especially when they’re busy…

The renovations done to this property since the last time I’ve seen it are amazing. A few oddities here and there, but overall quite beautiful. The employees who work here really try and are super helpful. We had a few road bumps with a wedding and they were so quick to offer viable solutions. That was so appreciated.

Actually getting to the property is a bit tricky. Sonora has a lot of traffic and one way streets. It can be a slight challenge to actually get there.

Beds need updating, not very comfortable, lower floor level rooms get a lot of sound/noise from upstairs rooms, plank flooring uneven.

Very clean rooms, recently remodeled, nice big shower, close to shopping and restaurants, free breakfast was really good!

We really liked Lumberjack! As Europeans, we were excited to stay in classic American motel but renovated and with a twist. Room was new, nice and clean. It could be a little bit bigger but we stayed for one night only so we were fine. Location is also great, in the middle of city, and you have breakfast included in the hotel on the other side of the road, which is apparently affiliated/or owns Lumberjack. Also, if you love a superb ramen, it's right around the corner - Yoshoku was the best!!

Two things are what keeps us from giving it higher marks -- only 2 sleeping pillows total for the whole king bed with 2 people and they were not the greatest pillows. We looked high and low in the closets/storage for a few more but nothing found. It really did not make it comfortable for watching tv at night or first thing in the morning. Second, we could hear people out around 2 AM sitting in the outside common area right down below the rooms socializing for at least an hour. There should be signs up that quiet hours are from 12-7 or something like that, those outdoor sitting areas should not be used in the middle of the night.

Good location to explore the town and then easily travel out to the snow/foothills area. We thought the room set up and furniture was one of the best set-ups we've ever seen in a hotel room. We were curious when we saw how small the square footage was going to be but they made great use of it and everything was very clean and new. Breakfast was decent overall and it was really nice to be able to take it to go back to the room.

Location. The rooms were updated. I booked here because it looked clean on the website. The desk clerk saw that I was having trouble standing and not only offered me a chair and then Walked us out to parking. She deserves a 5 star.

one tiny soap and the other dispensers not full or functioning. Fan in bathroom that automatically came on every time we went in then had to be turned off. terrible coffee at breakfast, which is normally the only good part about included breakfasts. Very tight parking lot for our Truck.

Very well renovated classical US Inn style hotel. The interior design is awesome - clean modern look. The bathroom had a removable shower head, I guess a rear thing in US, but common in EU.
