Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaStaff was not at front desk for checkin nor was a note left saying he would be right back. I waited more than 20 mins. Learned he was cleaning. Plus he asked. me for my debit card to keep on file. Im still wondering why he needed me to swipe it and use PIN after I had already booked/paid online.
Coffee and muffins is not my idea of breakfast.

ArgentinaHaving a kitchenette in the unit is fine, but not having a single element to cook it is useless, no glasses, plates, crockery or pots were available. I was expecting something different.
Clean, safe and quite place to stay for a couple of weeks. No issues at all, kind service at the front desk, I had to leave earlier than booked without any extra fees. The room was well equipped with microwave and full size refrigerator and all appliances in perfect working conditions

United StatesMe and my family first moved in on January 5th 2024 we were in the double bed but another guest told me to start booking with booking.com and when I started using booking.com I start getting treated poorly by the staff and the manager so they told me someone else had booked the room for the double bed and they told me that I had to go to a king size bed for five people I don't think it was fairly also was going through struggle where I had to start paying day by day but I made sure that my family was okay so I left because I know that I was not the only one booking through booking.com
Like that fact it was easy to get to work near by grocery stores

United StatesDidn't like that they made me and my family move out a double bed into a one king size bed for five people. Couldn't get a good night rest do to of others arguing fighting all times of the night but when I made a report to the staff at the front desk it was a problem for me
When we first checked in it was okay on 01/05/2024 but after that when and resident at the hotel to start using booking.com to save money because they saw me there with my three grandchildren and after that everything went downhill

United StatesWe was a little upset cus we were expecting a bigger tub that me and my husband could bathe together in. But that's okay. I think the biggest thing was the bed. It was unstable and when me and my husband would sit on the end of the bed together, the bed came up right off the floor. It scared the bajesus out of us.
I loved the little kitchen that comes in the room. Very convenient, especially the stove. And I like that the hotel is so close to food areas and the highway. Literally walking distance to some pretty interesting areas.
