We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was clean, staff pleasant but the facilities are mediocre at best. As basic as basic comes and overpriced. A little surprised that a hotel sitting basically "on the campus" of a beautiful university was so "vanilla" with so few amenities.

United StatesBreakfast was very disappointing. Also staff needs to be more aware of front desk. We checked in late 2am. No one was at front desk. We used courtesy phone and no one answered. After 15 minutes of waiting my husband walked around trying to find employee. He finally heard a noise in the breakroom and knocked. Found an employee so was able to check in. We had children with us so this was not great. For an extended stay suite no dishes in the kitchen was a surprise.
Location was great for why we were there.

United StatesBooked the room for two nights 3 weeks in advance with the option to modify or cancel booking up to 6pm night of our stay (costs extra for that). We found out the night before we would be held up and couldn't leave until 8pm the night of our stay. It's a 6+ hour drive. So we thought we could just cancel the first night, catching a different hotel on the way down and keep the second night. Unable to do that on line so we called and had to leave a message with the desk clerk for the supervisor. No return call, so we called back the next day and were told first: "If you don't show up for the first night, your entire booking will be cancelled and you lose the room on the 2nd night. And, you cannot cancel just the first night as then you'll lose your entire booking and you'll lose the room on second night. This is because we are sold out and the system cannot modify the reservation". We double checked and the entire town was sold out. We opted to drive 6 hours straight, check in at 2am. I will not be booking at any Extended Stay Suites in the future. Staff was nice enough but paying extra for flexibility we didn't receive just doesn't fly. Also, the 'no smoking room' smelled like smoke, had a cigarette burn on the comforter.
The staff was very friendly, we checked in and out in minutes.

United StatesLike I have said before I have been coming here an staying in this location for a pretty long time now. Lynchburg that is. An I have never felt so much negative stuff with the lady at the front desk she wasn't very nice at any point in time we have had to deal with her. She is not a very nice person. If you don't like your job then get a new one.
I have always like coming to this location an normally there are some great people that come here.

United StatesRoom smelled awful like mildew and old cig smoke-no utensils or dishware to cook or eat with. Staff ignored us in hallways and on property in passing when addressed with hello. Front desk was nice when asked a question, seemed to want to offer suggestion. No real amenities, lousy "continental" breakfast options.
Convenient to purpose of visit to the area. Glad to have our dog stay with us. Great they provided a pet area and clean up bags!

United StatesThe breakfast was granola bars on an end table. The price of the room was well over $200 more than I expected to pay. Some door handles are broke and protocol (knowing what to do, when like get new linens) is unknown. They also advertise free toothbrushes, shampoo, razor if you forget them. Well, I did forget. And they didn't have any. At night we either had to deal with a loud humming from the ice center or bright parking lot lights blinding us all night.
Plenty of hot water and pretty clean. The windows opened 3 inches or so but I love fresh air.
