Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

United StatesRequested front facing room, 1st floor prior to arrival. Not available upon my arrival. No waste/garbage can in room. Odd aroma used for the fragrance in the rooms and facility. Incense, hookah type smell. Fitness room remains closed. No more breakfast.
I was given what seemed like a larger room than my last stay. Supposedly they have new management. There are new fees as well, i.e. linens. Might be a fee for waste/garbage cans. This time my room had a shower curtain.

United States2 days i didnt have any breakfast. it was gone when i got stairs. there was roaches in my room. i have pictures. i was pretty upset and overreacted and my apologies to the staff. it was just crazy in there. the elevator broke and the first floor smelled horrible because of water leak. i understand that things happen it just wasnt a comfortable stay for me. i would stay again though it's perfect location for me job. thakn you

United StatesThe hotel was dirty. The room was dirty. There were clothes that belonged to someone else in the room. The bed sheets had what looked like blood stains and the bed had a foul odor. The floors were so dirty that my 16 year old freaked out when she looked at her feet. There were people wandering around and loitering outside. We smelled pot and there was a prostitute. I had already committed to the stay and couldnt cancel without loosing the money. We were worried about being robbed. The prostitute made comments about how pretty our 16 year old (modest daughter ) was and it made us uncomfortable to use the pool which was part kf our plan. We came to have family time and felt uncomfortable. There was a man in the hall yelling and banging at some awful hour. He kept yelling.
We loved the manager and the size of the room. We loved the kitchen.

United StatesWe had to wait for our room to be ready as check in time was 3pm and we arrived 430pm. We were told we would need to wait an hour and a half for our room to be ready due to shortage of housekeepers.This room was booked and paid for weeks in advance, so it was a matter of poor management and time management.There was a musty smell in the room and throughout the hotel.
