Powdered scrambled eggs, no fruit, no dairy to speak of. I’m pretty easy to please, and I walked out.

Other than the loud nightclub parking lot next door, everything was fine

I asked for a quiet room & they put me right next to a busy, loud nightclub parking lot. Just glad the noise stopped when the bar closed.

Kind of hidden behind brush. The parking lot situation is a joke. If you get there late you have to park in the street because they lack a decent sized parking lot. You also need to be careful of which side of the street you park on. Only one ice machine and vending machine for 3 floors and it is on the ground floor by the front desk.

Daily breakfast was less than mediocre. We tried it on our first morning, almost nothing left with more than an hour to serve. Bagels were very hard, hot items were unappealing, mini fridge was empty except for butter pats. We looked again on morning 2 to see if there was any improvement, there was not. Free breakfast is usually a plus, but not at this hotel.

The location was great for our purposes and our room was comfortable. We would stay here again.

While the location of this hotel (which was the reason I selected it) was enormously advantageous, I was disappointed in the general state of it: run-down, not always clean, broken amenities (which would have greatly enhanced my stay had they been working), and not one breakfast item I could eat as a gluten-free person. This hotel has great potential if just a little love were put into it.

The lobby/breakfast coffee was good, though sometimes empty, which was a shame. The parking lot was small and crowded, but I always found room.

This time I stayed there, there was a horrible smell coming from the air conditioner. I finally asked to change rooms after it got worse. The same smell was in the 2nd room but not as bad. My last night there the power went out. I know it's not the fault of the Hotel, but I had to check out a day early to go find another location to get ready for work. It would've been nice to have been offered a refund for the night since I'm a frequent customer of the establishment

The hotel is currently being renovated and they are short-staffed. Still in June 23 they are only doing towel and garbage service for multiple day stays. Still the staff they do have were super nice and helpful. Walgreens and a great Italian restaurant were across the street

Could do with a refurbish. Toilet in room stopped working and flooded bathroom floor. Maintenance failed to address after reporting and alternate showering and bathroom facility in gym had no shower curtain and cold water. Was offered alternate room when we returned late that evening but had to defer movement till next morning. Staff were sympathetic, but perhaps it should have been addressed with more priority?

Location was convenient for our purposes and complimentary Breakfast was a bonus. Room was warm and beds were comfortable. In room coffee and tea making facilities were a bonus. Overall much as expected

It was very cold outside, but the room was way too hot. The thermostat was set at 75. When I tried to turn it down, the room temperature did not change.

It was easy to get to and it was a quiet room with comfortable beds.

I arrived late and very tired if working. I needed a place to sleep, but when I went to my room the lock of the door was broken. It bothers me because I was traveling by myself. This things matter. I do not think hotels understand how hard that business is. When you are tired away from home, and need a place to sleep that you pay around 90 to $ 100 dollars is because you have made the choice to pay more for - Service, Comfort, Security. And you do not need: 1) Probably the son of the owner that is working the night shift and he does not want to be there, not care to treat you as important customer. Shout to me “use your card key… “ when I was just coming to take my room. Then, the room had a broken lock, the tiles on the of the bathroom loose. Everything irritates you, but you are so tired you need to rest. They won, bad service, rented room, because is close to the Western Michigan University Campus, and a part of Kalamazoo downtown that do not require outstanding service? Quality matters

The location of the property is great for what I needed.
