How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I saw a roach. Not a bunch that I saw. And police were called many times throughout my 4 night stay. I'm guessing violence and drugs from the people lingering outside the hotel. Also, very poor lighting in the room

There were roaches and bugs in the room. The water from the sink never got hot. The shower was fine. I put the white bathmat down in the bathroom, and it was quite obvious that it hadn't been mopped in a while. The headboards were very worn and desperately need replacing or apolstering. My son said they looked like nail marks from people wild-n-out.
I liked the size of the room, the location, and the to-go breakfast bag.

Apparently the Coconut bar closed, which would have been nice to know ahead of time as after traveling 9 hours it would have been nice to have a cocktail and something to eat. There could be better lighting in the vanity area as it wasn't too bright.
The room itself was fine. Bed was comfortable. Good shower pressure.

Walking on the floors barefoot made our feet black. I found pubic hair in the wash cloths and towels. The overall appearance was not what I would have expected from a Wyndham hotel.
That the facility is dog friendly. Convenient to major highways.

When arrived, the outside was very dirty and run down looking. I was supposed to have a pool view room, I did not...once in room, the maintenance man decided to fix something and was banging on walls for long time. I had to use my phone to call front desk because phone in room did not work. Room was not the cleanest. I slept on top of sheets. Did not even take a shower. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal,apples,coffee and juice. Little overpriced for what they offered.I was not impressed

Customer service. I have a service dog that stayed with me and was constantly harassed by staff members for having my service dog with me in certain areas of the hotel, pool, breakfast room, office lobby, laundry room. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT MY STAY WAS MRS> SHEILA AT THE FRONT DESK!!! SHE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL< THOUGHTFUL< GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHE MADE MY TIME THERE FEEL WARM AND FRIENDLY AS WELL AS SAFE!! Mayur's position should go to Sheila.
I couldn't walk around in the room with white socks on or with no shoes on because my feet would get so dirty I'd have to bring a soapy washcloth to the bed with me to wash my feet off so I wouldn't get the sheets dirty. I was scolded by several housekeepers for having such dirty hand towels and washcloths. I'd use the hand towels to dry my feet and hands off after washing my filthy feet. I never walk outside barefoot and always take my shoes off at the door so clearly it's problem with what the housekeepers are cleaning the floors with or they're not cleaning them enough. Also the dryer in the laundry room doesn't dry clothing at all...well it takes $6-$8.00 to dry a small load. I pet a normal size load in the dryer at 8:30ish pm by 10:00 pm they were still soaked and wet so i split them up into two dryers costing me a total of $8.00 all together. When i went back to check on my laundry at about 10:20ish the laundry room was locked, the front desk said that I could not retrieve my clothing till 7am and was told several times by the lady at the front desk that only an illiterate would make that mistake. I had a 3:30am flight from Orlando Int. Airport to Boston, Mass. I explained everything to the lady at the front desk and she told me there were no keys on the premises that maintenance had taken them home. I explained to her that I needed to make a report with the police department or have them try to unlock the laundry room, She advised me that I would forfeit my active reservations as well as any further ones and would also be trespassed from the property if I involve the police. I didn't want to be jailed or trespassed so I missed my flight. I value my clothing and thought I could reschedule one for later that day. I couldn't reschedule, and because of this I was forced to stay 4 days longer. I lost $720 because of this incident. Mayur did not believe me and refused to do anything he offered me 20% off a weeks stay..

Rooms needed upgrades, curtains were tattered in spots, dusty, needed sprayed, bathroom door looked like it had been through the war. People didn't care where they parked, everytime we left and came back we had to park 50 spots away. I could go on but you get the jest.

The bathroom for handicapped person while well equipped was Hazzard. When we turned on the shower the water poured out of the ceiling and the small light and you couldn't get a good shower scared of what or where that water was coming from
The closeness to everything but then that didn't really stack up nicely either
