Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesIt is still not clear why but the hotel charged my card three different times for the entire stay all within the first 12 hours of being there. This was all taken out of my checking account with no guarantee when or if I would get my money back. Staff at the counter was unsure why there were three charges. They helped us speak with corporate, the women we spoke with at corporate was getting very frustrated with us. Desk staff apologized for this. No compensation was able to be made or offered.

United StatesThe marijuana smell in the hallway was very strong!!!! Also, the bathroom floor was a slate tile, and my feet would be totally black after walking on it. Needed to be scrubbed. Only two washcloths and two towels provided, which is not enough for two people.
Nice staff, we stayed three nights, our room was cleaned every day. Coffee in the lobby. Felt secure.

United StatesI did not like the fact that I could smell weed as I walked through the front doors of the hotel when I got there to check in and also throughout the stairwells going to and from my room.
I liked the location of the room and the location of the hotel itself was convenient for my stay. The staff is always so helpful and friendly as well. It is not the fanciest or cleanest hotel but the stay was very welcoming and comfortable for what I needed and for the price.

The cost was about twice as much as it should have been and that’s with me being awfully generous in the first place. They knew about Louder Than Life and screwed over honest people. $617.xx for two nights in a single, king sized bedroom w/no jacuzzi or any other amenities was unbelievable.
