The guarantee deposit has not been returned to our account yet, after more than 1 month from our stay. The hotel is not replying to our follow up emails which is even more annoying. Little dated room. Annoying noise coming from the ventilator even though our AC was off.

The cleaning in the rooms was not very thorough. I noticed that cleaning was not done every day. I was okay with it. Yet when cleaning was done, I would still find long hair strains in the bathrooms and the living area (trapped on the carpet). It would have been nice to have a scrubber and toilet brush in the room to be able to clean the bathroom for myself.

The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed their hospitality. I had a parcel I expected for delivery. They received it and kept it safe for my collection. Their record keeping is sterling. I had two big beds in my room and stayed with my son at no extra cost.

One very minor negative experience: we called down to the front desk to get extra pillows right after checking in. We had to call several times because nobody was showing up and we wanted to leave for lunch. We finally just asked them to be left in the room. Additionally, we only found out on our last night there that we could Chromecast to our TV from my laptop. We sat through 3 days of bad tv and commercials when we could have been watching Netflix. Be sure to ask at the front desk how to do this so you can provide your own entertainment!

We paid extra to have the breakfast buffet included with our stay and it was 100% worth it. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious every day. All of the staff was very professional and courteous. The housekeeper on our floor was particularly kind and friendly, giving us extra bottled water each time we asked. I was also very pleased with how easy it was to get to the metro station from the hotel.

We were placed into a room the size of a closet. Ridiculously small. We were finally allowed to change to a normal sized room, but had to ask twice and talk to three different staff.

Fire alarm went off at night, we had to evacuate and nobody new what was going on. Apparently, it was a false alarm.

The hotel is close to metro station, which makes it easy to access all of the monuments and tourist places in D.C

Not having housekeeping tidy room each day, or even every other day. I don't expect full sheets stripped, but I miss the beds being made and bathroom wiped down, its a nice treat when you come back from long day. We stayed 3 nights and ran out of fresh towels and toilet paper (still had tissue papers thankfully) at very end of stay.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious - fabulous choices. Very close to Metro station. Hotel has parking (valet).

A staff member tried to charge me for an additional breakfast. When I checked my receipt, not only had they charged me for breakfast, they also charged me for valet parking and I do not have car. I contacted the hotel and they refunded me.

The location is great: right next to the Rosslyn metro station which has direct lines to Dulles and Reagan airports, plus train lines downtown. It is also a short walk from Georgetown.
