I called the front desk and asked if they had a comb/ hair brush to be brought up to my room because I had forgotten mine and they never brought it. I had a reservation at a restaurant, so I was in too much of rush to call and remind them about it. Other than that though, the staff was very friendly and professional

Check in was a bit awkward. Seemed as though two members of the staff were having a stern "teaching" moment.

Neat hotel overall. It's an older building that left a lot of that same charm from the times and long with some modern flare. The room was a good size with nice amenities. The shades needed to be closed the whole time as it felt like I'd be able to jump through the window into the window of the next building, or next part of the building. Decent location. Never fun paying $30+ for parking (not via the hotel), but fully expected it given it was downtown Minneapolis.

We had to wait for our room to be ready past our check in time. There was no microwave in the room which there was one in the lobby so it’s not the end of the world. View wasn’t great as it was on the inside I was hoping to get our room cheaper because of it.

I liked the large bathrooms, I liked how clean it was, I liked how safe I felt. The card system makes for a secure location.

The location. Downtown Minneapolis was interesting.

The property was clean. I had a decent stay for the most part. What I didn’t like was the 75 dollar deposit that was never disclosed prior to booking.

the rooms. i did not get a rollaway bed like I was promised 3 times. the manager was very helpful the next day and took 40% off but it didn’t change the fact that I asked for a certain amount of beds because we NEEDED it. and we didn’t get it. I feel that I should have been comped the whole room. we should not have to ask 3 times for something we paid for

With little kids I wish it would have had a pool. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and worn.

no soap in the bathtub, front desk staff not very friendly, went to a basketball game nearby and when we returned to the hotel the bar was ready to close and had about 5 minutes to order food( bartender reminded us several times). No pool for the kids.

When we first arrived, we were exhausted and given our keys. We hurried up to get to our room, and it was not clean. The bed was visibly slept in, there was trash on the tables/in the garbage and there were towels piled on the bathroom floor. We went back down and they immediately upgraded our room and it was clean and comfortable. It also was a bummer how much parking was (in the ramp across the street) I paid $25 the first time we left the ramp for dinner, and another $29 when we left in the morning after checkout. $55 for parking is expensive! It would have been nice if the hotel reimbursed that, or had parking passes for guests who are staying at their hotel. I also wish that renting movies to charge to your room was an available option! My fiancé and I are huge movie watchers, so that would have made it an even better experience!

I liked the location and how comfortable the beds were, and also that the showers are spacious with consistently hot water! Staff was all very friendly, and accommodating. I loved how we never heard anyone else in the hotel and how clean it was.
