Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesI loved the Hyatt House hotel and would highly recommend it , The complimentary breakfast was superb!! A variety of foods, fruits and juices to choose from. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly which I appreciated. The hotel is beautiful!

United StatesI have a slight allergy to dogs. Some people were carrying their dogs while they were filling their breakfast plates! (Gross!) I know the staff can’t always control that but some extra guidelines may help that. Others had their dogs outside. They were smokers so they had to smoke outside but I thought it a bit more respectful.
The hotel is very new so it was fresh and clean.

this property was great, I was very surprised our suite had a dishwasher, a stove top, a big refrigerator and even dishes. everything was very clean and comfortable and I didn’t hear any noise from the hallway or other rooms at all. it seems to be a nice area.

United StatesWe had two rooms, one on our way south and another on the way back. In the first room, which was the bigger of the two, the TV was hugh and so close to either the sitting area or the bed that we couldn’t watch it comfortably, gave us both motion sickness. Size it down, please, to fit the space! Both rooms took 5-8 minutes for the hot water to show up, even with all the taps, including the shower, turned on. Never had that happen in a hotel before. Fix your water pressure or something.
Tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the walk-in shower was great.
