There were two rude female staff members who work during breakfast service.

The location was walking distance to the wharf and the monuments.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The valet parking was really expensive and the app was annoying, it kept asking me to update my information (room number and last name)

One night the water shut off without warning. When we went down to the lobby the staff was kind and gave us water bottles to help us bridge the gap until morning. There also was a stain (probably mascara) on one of the clean sheets.

The WiFi was very unstable in areas above the ground floor and 3rd floor lobby, often losing connection and cutting out for up to 30 minutes at a time. The hotel could do with installing some range boosters to sort this out.

The location is fantastic, being only five minutes on foot from the National Mall. The breakfast is expansive. It’s also in a really safe part of the city owing to its proximity to the government buildings - I’ve seen the FBI, Secret Service and MPD on patrol on a regular basis! The room was very comfortable, and even with the train station, interstate and a fire station right next door, these were never really that much of an issue to me - I could hear them, but it didn’t prevent me from resting and relaxing. I can see other reviews said these were intrusive, so it might be louder on lower floors, but I was up on the 12th floor. Shower is nice and hot and has a solid water pressure - very refreshing!

The TV system needs an upgrade. Channels 26 to 48 did not work. Error message. Other channels kept reloading

Hotel could of had more amentites, vending machine didn't work. Bottled softdrinks and few snacks available at front desk, but would have been nice if small gift shop, snack area, newspaper, magazines, something. Rooftop bar was closed, so not many options for eating in hotel.

Room was nice with sofa, rooms clean and restroom nice also. Breakfast was good, many choices.

The room size is standard even if you are booking for 5 people in one room We arrived late at night, however there was no shampoo and soup in the room. next day, room service didn;t fill in any So romm service was not that much good

Breakfast was a mob scene but the food was good. The replenishment was very slow and I had to make do with what was available. Location was not as close to the Mall as expected and there was nothing around the hotel to occupy downtime.

Understaffed at front desk - took awhile to get checked in. On the way out 2 of the 3 elevators weren’t working - we waited 20-30 min for an elevator and then ultimately had to fold up our stroller and carry our belongings up and down the stairs.

The breakfast was okay, and the valet parking was unexpected, maybe I didn't see that when I booked (?) But an extra 50 was an unexpected spending when we came down for a concert ans one of the perks of getting a hotel was for parking and not having to deal with meter money

Very slow daily room cleaning (not done till 4-5pm). Breakfast often not fully stocked, the scrambled eggs were dry and “hot” food was dried over.

Nice foyer to relax in. Good sized room. Comfortable beds. Onsite laundry.

There was no parking, they are very expensive. For breakfast you must get up early, or else you won’t find anything.
