The pool area was so full early every morning, we had to go to the one by the villas. Never actually went in the closer one. The kayaks and paddle boards should be included. The resort fees situation was confusing. We got billed for them through Booking.com but the hotel said they changed during our stay and we owed a different amount. We talked to maintenance twice about fixing the bathroom fan above the toilet, which never got fixed during our stay.

We got upgraded to an oceanfront room, which was awesome. The buffet breakfast was incredible. We had a lovely steak dinner for a birthday and got a complimentary dessert.

If the hotel had snorkels/boogie boards/surf boards available for use that would have been great. The bar at the Hyatt was fine, but we found ourselves heading to other resorts for a drink at night.

The pool was great. Our balcony had a fantastic view. And breakfast each morning worked wonderfully for us.

The restaurants. It was not that great. The free breakfast was good, but the service in all the restaurants was terrible. Very slow. My wife got food poisoning from the Steakhouse. It took over an hour to get our food and she got sick from it. The price you are paying to eat at that restaurant it should be better. They should offer some bread at your table. We didn’t like any of the restaurants there.

Covid-19 did change this visit from previous visits. Masks made things more difficult but hotel did a good job. Vaccine certificates are a must at all restaurants!

Room was recently remodeled and very nice. I did not have a view of the ocean as those rooms were too expensive. Housekeeping only came every 4 days to clean the room due to covid-19. However, linens were changed daily.

There is no elevator down to pool level unless you walk completely across the resort. I have an arthritic knee and I had to do too much walking. Also, signage to the spa was lacking and I ended up walking around in circles and was 20 minutes late for appt.

Beautiful grounds, sound of ocean 24-7, great view, spacious room, LOVED the bed and wish it would fit in my suitcase, comfortable and very clean everywhere. Food was excellent.

The daily parking fee for self-Park was exorbitant. Also the drinks on-property are extremely overpriced. 16 bucks and tip for a mai tai? Way too much.

Cleaning of room would be at random times in day. Sometimes we would come back and just tell them not to clean because we wanted to rest in the room.

All food was amazing. The bar staff and food by the pool was the best! All the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

We had a room facing the front of the hotel and could hear a rooster cawing every morning around 6-7am that usually woke us up. However, we just saw it as an alarm in the morning.

Everything you needed is right by the property. We could also see the sea and sunset right from our room balcony. The lobby was open-air which was amazing, especially at night. We also enjoyed the penguins and birds that are in the lobby everyday. Last but not least, the food was incredible. No matter what restaurant you eat at on the property, the food was wonderful.

I was sad I didn’t get to go to the luau. You have to book months in advance.

I loved the Hyatt Maui Resort and Spa! I went to celebrate my birthday! I honestly wish I could live there. From the bottle of champagne and lays at checkin to the most accomodating staff, activities on site, and beautiful views it was well worth the money. They even have penguins and other birds on the property! The pool was also super nice and had a swim up bar and waterslide! The beach was mostly private so I was able to take amazing pictures at sunset. They also have many restaurants and a gym right on site. While I was there I also did a massage overlooking the beach! It was so nice hearing the waves! You could honestly stay at the resort your whole trip and not leave and you’d be happy! I will definitely be coming back!

Parking can be difficult in the evening for general parking, not enough parking available and vehicle stalls are a little small if you have a bigger vehicle.

The use of both pools and beach access. Stayed at the Napoli Tower in the middle of both resorts, perfect location.
