We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesDefinitely not very clean. Very old and dated. AC didn’t work. Bathrooms and floors were gross.
Our check in lady was lovely. There were so many issues with the place and a whole bunch of rooms was waiting for towels, even at 9 PM and she handled everything so calmly, and with so much grace.

United StatesPeople were being rude stomping and pacing back and forth. Jumping on their bed, couldn't get no sleep, wasnt dealt with. No clean sheets, towels weren't clean, just disappointed. I had better stays than this. Either fix the mistakes or I will not come again to this hotel.

Even after she and another staff member inspected the rooms, she refused to return the room deposit and attempted to collect additional money for the smell of smoke that was in the hall.

United StatesThe room couldn't be any more spartan. not even a single clothes hanger, old bathroom, bed and furniture. It was probably not dirty, but one could hardly view the room as really clean. Towels were missing; though when I reported it, the staff member brought me a few. The toilet was not flashing, and I was not warned nor offered another room; that was rather embarrassing. At least the shower was working.
There was literally nothing to like, I simply had to have a place for the night, since my reservation was inexplicably cancelled in another hotel.

United StatesSeveral things are off-putting. Along with taxes and other fees that make the total cost more than $100, the hotel charges a $50 deposit, when you don't get back until the end when staff goes to your room while you wait and check on the condition of the room. There are no convenient restaurants in the area that are open at night, and if you want coffee, you have to go to the gas station next door. The 10 a.m. checkout is HUGE. Part of what you pay for in a hotel is being able to stay, when you want to until 11 or noon. A 10 a.m. checkout may help hotel staff, but it is a disservice to guests. If you are tired and just passing through Stockton, this might be an option. If you're doing anything in Stockton, you'd find better value at another hotel.
The location is great. You can see it from the I-5 freeway as you reach the exit, and, assuming 8th street isn't busy, you can easily get into the left lane and make the turn onto Manthey Road.

Only 6 cable channels worked. We only had 2 very flat pillows for our king bed and I had to use my bag to sleep with under the pillow so I had cushion.
