Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

This was a self care getaway for me and I was extremely pleased with how beautiful this hotel was. Check in staff were so nice, the room was so romantic, the view was amazing, and the room service was nice. Some of the best French Toast I’ve ever had. My solo self love/care getaway was unforgettable.

United StatesI regret buying breakfast in advance and I felt it was really for convenience. The continental breakfast is overpriced for what it is. I wish we'd skipped it and found breakfast outside the hotel for that price.
The hotel is very nice. I loved being so close to everything we were in town to do. For reference, we went to the opera and House of Blues. The metro rail is right there and very convenient. Usually hotel beds mess up my back but this one was super comfy. The staff were very helpful.

United StatesUnfortunately downtown Houston has become one large bed for the homeless criminal world.......fortunately I stay armed ....but to the unarmed it's a very scary experience I'm sure.....even in broad daylight we were cautious leaving the hotel room....we saw people defecating on street ....shooting heroin....and selling themselves.......we are gonna start finding other avenues for entertainment further out in country.....we won't be back to downtown Houston......but we will always use Marriott wherever we go.....they were great.
Valet guys were the nicest and on top of their jobs.... They should be running front desk.....checkout at noon was a nice perk.....and we could a stayed till 2pm.....so that was nice......their is no restaurant as advertised online......so don't make reservations......and when we asked about it to the front desk, the gentleman working day shift on Friday afternoon, treated us as though we were uneducated and should have known in advance.....he stated that the website is old and needs updating ...which I don't feel is my responsibility ......but all in all were happy w Marriot

There is a beautiful bar in the hotel itself however I did not use that. Very nice place. Price is a little high but this is the norm these days for quality, convenience and location.

United StatesWe loved everything about our stay the rooms were nice and comfortable, staff were great as well. Valet makes you feel important they open the doors to your vehicle for you. The rooms were beautiful, bed was comfortable, the hotel lobby was beautiful and quiet. Definitely will be returning. It was our 17th wedding Anniversary and we asked to not be placed by children and the hotel was accommodating. The lighting in the bathroom had me glowing great for people who love pictures lol.
