Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe white furniture in the lobby was very soiled needed to be cleaned or replaced. Some of the furniture in the suite was very tired looking, ie: kitchenette table cracked on the top, but everything else looked great.
Location was great. We waited at the front desk for 20 minutes before someone helped us. There was no one there. 2 maintenance men told us the ladies at the desk would be back soon. They must have been watching the front for them while they were gone. When the ladies returned they were very nice. Both ladies were gone at the same time and returned together. Maybe they were at lunch together or maybe helping a customer with a room IDK. The room was nice , very clean. The bed was comfortable .The bathroom was nice. The bar area was also very nice. It had what they called a view. Which was looking at another hotel across the street and a partial beach view. The hallways and elevator were very nice.

United StatesThe staff took some time to warm up to us - they didn't seem happy or 80% of them didn't and it wasn't that busy. We stayed the weekend and hardly left so they warmed up and we had a great time. Our room was very MUSTY - I thought it was mold but it was musty big time.
The FOOD was awesome. The upstairs bar could have used some dimmer lights later in the evening. The hotel was lovely.
